Nico's POV:

Nico was dead. He was sure of it. All he could was remember was Khloe slashing his leg then his vision went blurry.

"No. I won't say it again, Dominique." The voice sounded like waves crashing onto the jagged rocks. "I did everything you told me to do. More close to getting them than you have ever gotten." The girls voice was harsh, as jagged as the other. When she turned around, Nico wasn't as surprised as he should've been to see Khloe's face. "They have them. They have the scales. You had one job Dominique!" Cried the man.

"Don't you dare call me Dominique again or I swear i'll-"
"Do not correct me Dominique," interrupted the man. "We will send as much reinforcements as we can."He leered at Khloe.

Nico's dream changed before he could do anything.

A blond head of hair appeared, the boys eyes were so bright Nico could see them glowing between strands of hair. He murmed things Nico would never know. He seemed to choke on his own words. He reached out, but a icy blast of wind pulled him back. Another figure appeared. Her golden eyes comforted Nico in a way no one would ever feel. She then vanished, sucked away like a vacuum.

Nico froze as a new one appeared. Here swift hair blowing in every direction. She didn't look real. From a different dimenson. To the normal human eye, she would look like your everyday human. Nico was a different story. She looked up, eyes icy cold, but pricked with warm tears. Nothing was real anymore.

"Siamo qui insieme."

That was the only thing she said until she fell down deep into the void. Nico was then abrubtly engulfed with mountain water.

He sat straight up, completly unaware of the boat he was lying on. He shivered. "Gods, are you alright?" Asked a unfimliar voice. Percy turned to Nico. "Hey. You're finally up. Guessing you didn't have the best sleep of your life." Nico chose to ignore him. "Who is this?" He managed to get out. "Remy, our nereid friend," Thalia said. "She saved you." Nico didn't want to thank her just yet. Remy looked slighty offended. "Nereid indeed. But I think you're missing something."

At this point, Nico was still probably dreaming. Remy had proceeded to prove that she was indeed not Remy.

Remy was surrounded with an aura that had almost blinded him, a lotus flower stubbornly sticked to her leg as kelp turned into a breath taking dress. The smell of salt water was so powerful Nico's eyes stung.

Nico searched his brain for all the nereid godesses. It suddenly struck him that this was Amphitrite. "You heroes have just fallen in their trap." Her voice quickly changed. It wasn't so high an octave anymore." You only have one week to complete your quest. If you don't find the Scales of Justice in that time, the world will fall in your hands. In order to get your memory back, return the missing, and defeat the potens." Potens, meaning strong, mighty powerful, able, great. Potens.

She smiled at them. "Don't fail demigods. The fate of Olympus and the world is in your hands."

And just like that, the goddess dissolved into a cloud of golden smoke.

Percy looked the most shell-shocked. His face was a concerning shade of pearl white. Thalia glanced at Percy and frowned. "She called us a demigod."  "She called us demigods," She whispered. "A half-god," She muttered over and over.

Nico looked at them both. They were all in there tiny box of shock. The more he ried to recall his past life, the more connected he felt to them. "How will we know." Percy looked up at Nico. "Find our parents," he continued. Nobody responded again. This time it was Thalia's turn to look up at him sympathetically.

After what seemed like days, Thalia asked, "Do you guys know anyone by the name of Annabeth Chase?" Percy's head jerked up faster than the speed of light.

"Annabeth Chase." He said the name dreamily. He paused a moment to think. Nico knew Percy saw him hesitate. Percy glared at him. Nico couldn't help but feel a bit frightened by that reaction.

Thalia craned her neck to look past the boat. "Where do you remember Annabeth?" Percy asked. "One of he last things someone said before I woke up. Something about contacting a girl named Annabeth Chase," Thalia recalled.

"Do you know anyone named Will?" He asked. Nico responded quicker than he intended to. "No I do not." The words tasted like metal on his tounge. Thalia studied him, but she looked too tired to decipher his thoughts.

It was getting dark out, about a little after dusk. Nico could see the moon. It shinded in a mezmerizing way. The stars looked like sprinkles blended perfectly in the frosting of the night sky.

It had been over 2 hours since they were on that boat but it felt like 10 minutes. "Hey guys, look." Percy pointed to the sky. That right there is Hercules, and see That? That's Sagittarius." Nico still wondered how such small dots could make such beautiful drawings. Nico felt wish he didn't feel tired. He didn't want any more dreams. But before he knew it, the sun fully set, and darkness had taken over.

The water rippled gently as the boat moved across the vast lake.

Even Nico's eyes were starting to get a little droopy. Crap.
"We should get some sleep. We can all figure out more stuff tomorrow," She said.

She looked at one of her arrows once more and Nico noticed something he could swear it wasn't there before. A cresent moon was carved into the side.

She didn't seem to notice. Then, just like that, she already buried herself underneath her jacket and was fast asleep, as still as a rock.

Percy looked up warily at the constellations one last time.

He took off his hoodie to reveal a blue shirt then set his pen sword next to him

Then he closed his eyes. Nico stared at the moon for a while then laid down. His only warmth was his  jacket and the warm night.

He closed his eyes and for once, Nico felt safe.

But it didn't last too long.
