Percy's POV:

That awkward moment when you're told to go to the library with your friends and/or your partners in crime, and you're all dyslexic.

Athena was definitely watching them up on Olympus, sneering with her encyclopedia in one hand.

Perla Library was what it's called. He thought it said peeps library at first, which made him long for Easter.

He wasn't and expert on library's, but he was sure that library wasn't in Missouri. Nico yawned. Percy himself now wanted to yawn too. He didn't realize how tired he felt.

"Go in Kelp Head," Thalia demanded, but she yawned halfway through it.

Percy already got bad vibes from this place, but he didn't want to argue. They all walked in and his jaw almost dropped to the floor. Forget flower bending. This  place was the most mesmerizing library in the history of libraries.  Words couldn't describe how breath-taking it was. It seemed as if they traveled back to the 60s. It smelled of coffee beans and new books.

His heart ached when he thought about how much Annabeth would love this place. He wished he could be here, holding her hand and relaxing on a chair. Even if it was a library made for nerds, he would do anything to be next to her right now.

"What are you thinking about?" Thalia's voice jolted him out of his thoughts. Percy didn't know how to respond. Oh! Just relaxing here with my girlfriend even though we both have dyslexia, and our parents hate each other, and we will all probably die trying to find an ancient artifact, didn't seem very fitting.

He decided to go with not answering. Thalia seemed to get that. She didn't ask any more questions, which Percy appreciated. "We need to find the jewel," She said a little louder so that Nico could hear.

Nico was wearing a different shirt than yesterday, tucked into his jeans. His aviator's jacket was tied around his waist with a chain belt. Where the heck he got all those new clothes, Percy didn't know. Nico nodded. "We need to search deeper," He said. They all walked into the library a little more, flipping through books.

"Need any help?" Asked a voice. Percy jumped. They all turned to face the girl. She looked oddly familiar. She kind of reminded him of Nico. With her olive skin and raven hair, she could have easily be mistaken for his twin sister. Just the height difference was a problem.

Percy and the girl locked eyes, she looked too familiar. A wave of grief washed over Percy, (No pun intended). "W-we need to find something here, " Thalia said. Percy noticed she stuttered. Nico stood frozen in place. He started at her intensely.

Percy shuffled closer to Nico.
"I think you're freaking her out, " Percy whispered. Nico responded with a glare.

The girl gradually started to realize who she was talking to. "Gods." She gasped. He noticed how she said gods and not God.

She recovered from her shock. "Um, I work as a helper here for my mother. I will be happy to help."
"Well, " Nico replied. "These are my friends Percy and Thalia." Percy wasn't sure if he was seeing things, but the girl mouthed something then gave Nico a soft proud smile.

"I'm Bia- Brianna. Call me Briar for short, " Brianna said.

They were stuck, in a library, the Greek section to be precise. Looking for something. Percy thought his mind would explode. This Briar girl agreed to help them. Percy was reluctant at first, but they could trust her. She kinda knew something about all this, or that's what Percy thought.

Nico seemed uneasy the second they met, Percy wanted to ask him but thought better of it. Nico seemed to be stuck in reading this one book. Though, every time Percy glanced at him, his expression was pure disgust.

Percy grabbed a book and flipped through it. It sounded like a flock of birds.

"Everyone, check this out, " Thalia said. Everyone walked over to her and found her staring at Hestia. "Hestia's hand, " Briar noticed in her quiet voice. "It has a nail stuck in it." Thalia cringed, no doubt thinking of the same moment back at the school. Briar tried to grab it, but Thalia clasped her wrist. "Don't, " She warned. "It's gonna break."

Thalia looked at Hestia with a wild expression. Her eyes moved in every direction. Percy didn't notice how a bright white light surrounded her. Like doves coated with rainbows.

"I have an idea, " Thalia said.
