The body was thrown behind the casino and then the scarecrow broke in the casino. Damon felt that whole thing but couldn't stop the scarecrow, he in his mind closed his eyes and thought about changing back to himself. After a while he was normal again. Damon asked the scarecrow in an angry manner "Why did you kill that man, what did he do to you? You promised there would be no more killings, then why did you do it?" the scarecrow replied "I didn't mean for it to happen, it just happened accidently" it laughed sarcastically. Damon told the scarecrow not to kill anyone else. Then Damon went upstairs to Benny's office. There was a safe there but Damon didn't have the key on him. He was thinking what he should do, the scarecrow told him to transform again which he did after a few minutes as he had no other choice. The scarecrow twisted opened the lock. The safe had lots of gold and cash in it. The scarecrow then opened its shirt, and absorbed all the contents of the safe into his body, as the body was made up of hay. Then they went back home. On the way going back the scarecrow moved through the shadows, so no one could see it. Upon reaching Damon's house the scarecrow unloaded all the cash and gold onto Damon's bed and changed back into Damon. Damon looking at all that gold and cash became exited, so exited that he forgot the murdering of the policemen. That night Damon didn't realize what the future had in store for him. At dawn another, policemen went to the casino, not finding the guard at his post made him look here and there for him. Soon he came upon the dead body of the guard. He ran to the police station and told inspector Bradshaw. They came back and were shocked to find the dead body. Bradshaw was confused and angry at how could someone kill a policeman. The other deputy went inside the casino to look for clues and found the broken safe. He called Bradshaw, after looking at the safe they were all confused at who or what could twist a metal lock this way. What kind of tools the robber used? It was unclear to Bradshaw what kind of robber did it, but he had to find and catch whoever did this. A few weeks had passed and the robberies in the town had grown, many people reported seeing a mysterious figure fleeing the scenes but no one saw clearly who it was. Damon became so blind by the money he acquired that he couldn't see what the scarecrow was doing to him, he became cruel and didn't care for anyone beside himself. The scarecrow changed Damon's personality. One evening Uncle Ricky visited him, he told him he hadn't seen him in many days to which he replied "What do you want old man? You are not my father, leave me be." Uncle Ricky was heartbroken but he also thought what had happened to Damon. That night Damon went to the bar to meet Marie, he sat down at the bar and bartender John asked him how he was, he hadn't seen him in a while. To which Damon just shrugged his shoulders. After a while he accompanied Marie to her room. She lit the fireplace and asked Damon to put some firewood in it. When Damon was putting the firewood, as he went near the fire, he felt burning, he felt it so much that the firewood dropped out of his hands and he step backed. Marie asked him what had happened and he just had a shock expression on his face, he had never experienced pain since he had fused with the scarecrow. It was the first time in many weeks he had felt like it. Marie asked him to tell her but he went to his house in a hurry. Upon reaching his home, he stood in front of the mirror and looked at the burn mark, it was burnet red, he asked the scarecrow what happened back there. The scarecrow said it had no idea how did that happen as it also never felt like it before but it said "It's better to avoid fire from now on". At the bar Marie and John were talking about the incident and Uncle Ricky walked in asking about Damon. He was worried for him and wanted to ask Marie about him. Marie said "Damon was acting really strange. I have never seen him like that before." And then she described the whole incident with the fire. After listening to that Uncle Ricky left the bar, he had an expression of worry on his face, he knew something was wrong with Damon. At midnight Damon went out of the house. He wanted to get away from Greywood, so he had to steal a lot of money. He thought for a while and then started walking towards the mansion. He thought the family who owned the town should have lots of valueables and money at their house. As he arrived at the mansion, he felt a strange vibe from inside, but he had other priorities so he transformed into the scarecrow and climbed over the gate in. As he was walking through the garden towards the mansion door, he felt someone was watching him through the large windows. He looked up and saw nothing. Suddenly a spear came flying towards him and pierced through his body. As it was made of hay it had no affect on him, it healed instantly. There was a young man standing in front of him. The man had a sword in his hand. It was Hammond the Butler Williams son. "Finally, so you are the murderer who has been terrorizing the town-folk? Prepare to die now." Said Hammond as he lunged forward to attack the scarecrow. Hammond moved fast and his strikes were quick, it was clear he had some training with that sword. But the body made of hay had no affect of the sword strikes, no matter how many cuts it received it healed instantly. The scarecrow kicked Hammond away, and then a strong whip made of hay came out of his hand. The scarecrow fought back with that whip, both were fighting fiercely, Hammond dodged the attacks of the scarecrow with his speed and the scarecrow didn't had any affects of Hammond's attack. Suddenly a fast and fierce whip attack landed on Hammond's ribs, it broke one of the ribs.
