Viktor was pummeled on the ground, he was bleeding from his nose and mouth. In desperate attempt to survive Viktor casted a powerful spell which ignited a huge fire around them. The Scarecrow was unaffected by the fire, the fire quickly spread across the whole mansion. John, Bradshaw and Uncle Ricky were exhausted and couldn't move. The potion gave them strength for a while, but it also tires the body to the fullest. The men also saw the mansion catching fire but couldn't do anything. The scarecrow pulled Viktor by the neck and said "Time to die false God, before dying I want you to hear my name. I AM SCARECROW JACK!!!" The scarecrow ripped out Viktor's heart and crushed it with his bare hands putting an end to his life and immortality. The fire spread across the mansion now started to reach the forest. The men worried what was going to happen. The mansion engulfed in flames. It was almost dawn, drops of water dropped on the men's face and it started to rain. The men were surprised as it never rained in Greywood before. The rain extinguished the fire. After a while the men had regained enough strength to stand back on their feet. The rain ended and for the first time in many years sun had finally shown on Greywood. The whole town was in tears of joy when they saw sunlight shinning on their town. John, Uncle Ricky and Bradshaw went inside of the mansion to look for Damon. They found two burnt corpses but not a third one. Damon was gone, where no one knew, maybe he died in the fire. Uncle Ricky cried and said "Damon saved this town, he saved us. Sadly, we cannot share this with the people as it will cause distress among them. But Damon turned out to be the hero he never wanted to be." John and Bradshaw agreed as the three left the mansion to go home. Everything was normal in Greywood. The people could leave and come into town as their will. The town prospered and many new people came to settle here. The Castellanos mansion was demolished and the road that led out of the town was built better and officially became the town's main entrance. The Castellanos were forgotten from history. No one mention their name ever again. Uncle Ricky started working in John's bar. Both men became great friends. Bradshaw was elected Mayor of the town, and he ran the town pretty well. The Order of the Church observed this town for a few years, but after no more supernatural activity was seen or reported, they stopped. Almost after a century later, in a far away land which had tall buildings and all the latest technology. In a dark ally behind the cinema three men were robbing a man. They were punching him and threatened to kill him by shooting him. They heard something growling in the back. A mysterious figure appeared in the shadows. The men tired to scare it by shooting at it. But the figure still stood there. One robber decided to confront the shadow, he picked up his baseball bat and walked towards the shadow. No one heard his cries for help as he was chocked to death by something powerful. The other robbers were intimidated and tried to run away. But the shadow moved fast and caught up to them. The shooter fired at the shadow but it didn't do anything. They also met with the same fate. The guy who was getting robbed couldn't make out whom he saw. But the man was terrified of its strength. The mysterious figure left without saying anythig. When the police arrived they found no clue who killed the robbers, the only thing found on the scene were some straws of hay.
