The beast broke the trap with his both hands and charged toward John. John tried to attack it with his broadsword but he missed and John took a punch in the face, John's face started bleeding his jaw was damaged, the punch almost rendered him unconscious. John fell to the ground, the beast tried to squish him but John rolled out of the way and stood up quickly. John took something out of his bag, it was a liquid of some kind. John applied it to his sword and daggers. The beast lunged forward to attack, John stepped aside and attacked with the sword, he cut opened another wound on the beast's back, the beast howled in pain, before the best could stable itself John attacked another time at the best's leg. John landed a powerful attack which cut off the beast's leg. The beast fell to the ground and John wasting no time drove the sword through the beast's heart, ending the beast's life. Marie dodged the attack by sliding on her knees, while she was sliding, she cut Gloria's leg. Gloria ignored the pain and turned to attack, she swinged her axe another time which Marie tried to block with her swords. They were both struggling. Marie kicked her away, Gloria threw away her ax and took out a dagger from behind her, she thrusted forward with the dagger but the attack was dodged. Gloria was furious, she chanted a few words and she also transformed in a beast. This form was different from Ben and Hammond's her body remained the same but her eyes changed, they rolled back, and her teeth grew long. Her nails grew long and her speed changed. She lunged forward to attack, this time her speed was so fast that Marie couldn't block that attack and got hit. Gloria scratched Marie's gut, it wasn't lethal but it hurt Marie. Gloria attacked again this time attacking Marie's back. The result was the same. Marie tried to dodge her attacks but couldn't, as Gloria's speed was greater. Gloria attacked again this time targeting Marie's eyes but Marie moved her head away, taking the attack on her cheek. Marie fell to the ground and Gloria pounced on her. Marie raised her swords in time forcing Gloria to fall on them instead. The swords pierced through Gloria's body and she screeched in pain, Marie rolled away from beneath Gloria and stood up. She took out her dagger and cut off her head. Gloria's head was severed from her body and she died. Marie was exhausted, she took her swords from Gloria's body. John caught up to Marie and saw she was alive. They breathed a sigh of relief and went into the cave. They lit a torch on fire and went to the end of the cave. They saw The Witch chanting a spell. The Witch had a protection spell around her which John broke by thrusting his sword into it. The spell broke and Marie leaped and thrusted both her swords into the witch's heart. The witch felled to the ground and died. John found some pages of the journal in the cave. John and Marie fled the scene. Damon's body temperature was returning to normal. As the spell had ended. Damon was still unconscious Uncle Ricky still sat beside him. Suddenly Damon's appearance changed into the scarecrow. He stood up and grabbed Uncle Ricky by the neck "You Old man...you want to ruin my plans...I shall kill you right now..." it laughed just as it was choking Uncle Ricky. It stopped, it let go of Uncle Ricky and transformed back into Damon. "Are you alright Uncle" asked Damon. Uncle Ricky nodded as he was coughing. Damon helped Uncle Ricky back to his feet and the two sat down, Uncle Ricky told Damon about John and Marie leaving in a hurry which made Damon more suspious about the two. At the forest the young Master and William discovered the bodies of Gloria and Ben, the young master rushed inside the cave just to find the corpse of the witch. He became furious, He casted a spell to summon the witch's spirit. When the spirit answered he asked it who the scarecrow is and who did this to her. The sprit recalled it couldn't see who the scarecrow was but described her killer, a young girl and a man in his forties. Then it vanished. The young master was furious to see many of the journals and spells were missing. He came out and found William burning the corpses of his son and wife. William had no expression on his face, he was blank. He asked the young master "Did you find the scarecrow Master?" The young master replied no. Then both returned to the mansion. At the mansion Inspector Bradshaw was waiting for William. When the young master and William arrived Bradshaw immediately inquired about the young man beside William, to which William replied "Its none of your concern. What is the news about the killer? Did you find something useful, or you came here to waste my time again?"Bradshaw felt insulted and bowed his head down and said he hasn't found anything regarding the killer, but Bradshaw told them about Damon and his newly found strength. This interested the young master and he asked "Where does this Damon lives?" Bradshaw gave Damon's address and said "He mostly hangs around at John's Bar near the town square." Then Bradshaw left. The young master said to William "Its, been a while since I visited the town, perhaps this Damon knows about something, I am going to visit the town tonight." John and Marie returned to Damon's house. Damon opened the door. He had a look of suspicion on his face. Damon invited them in. as soon as they walked in, Damon started asking them questions about their suspicious behavior and what knowledge they had about his problem. John and Marie had changed back into their normal outfits. At first, they denied of any knowledge. But when Damon threatened them, they had to tell him. John said to Damon "Sit down, this is going to be a long chat." When everybody sat down, John started explaining "This town has been cursed, the myth of the river, the Greywood trees, the cloudy weather everything is because of the curse. Myself and Marie belong to The Order of the Holy Church. The order has taken an oath to protect civilians from any supernatural threat around the world. We don't expose our identities, we fight evil in shadows, as the people are naïve regarding subjects of supernatural. And the exposure of such knowledge will only lead them to fear and disbelieve. Our family came in this town fifty years ago, my father and mother dedicated their lives investigating this town's curse.
