The young master replied sarcastically "I thought you might have figured out till now, but you are clearly not bright enough. Allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Viktor Castellanos of the Castellanos family." Damon was shocked of this revelation "The Viktor Castellanos?" He asked in disbelief. Viktor said "Yes, the same Viktor Castellanos who was presumed dead long ago." Viktor stood up, poured himself a glass of wine and offered some to Damon, which Damon refused. Viktor sat down again opposite Damon, "You are a hard man to find Damon, You, are here because of something you posses, or rather something that possessed you. Whichever you prefer. The scarecrow is a demon capable of unimaginable power and you haven't even managed to understand what its worth is, you turned towards petty thefts, but you impressed me when you fought Hammond. Yes, I was the one who shot a fireball towards you that night. I wanted to find out how strong your bond with the scarecrow was that's why I didn't intervene earlier. You are venerable to fire because you have given in to your dark desires, you are corrupted and let the scarecrow take advantage of that. I am giving you a chance now. Join me and we can rule not only this town but the whole world. However, if u refuse my offer, not only you will die but the ones you love will die too." Marie came out of the mansion and saw the battle between John and William. John was still struggling against William, John left his sword and took out his daggers so he could match the speed of William, but William's skill with the sword was too great. John tried to attack William, he lunged forward thrusting his dagger, aiming for William's heart, but William side stepped and planted his knee in John's gut, John tripped and fell down, William slashed at John's other arm but William was pushed back by Marie. "Get away from him!" shouted Marie. John was relieved to see Marie well. William was not expecting Marie to push him, "Well, that was unexpected." Said William. John pointed towards his bag and told Marie to get her gear on. Marie wore her armor, took her sword and daggers and joined John. William was as calm as before "Thank you, for joining in, I expected a better fight from your partner, lets see if you can do better girl." William said as he was ready to attack. William lunged forward slashing left and right, John and Marie both deflected the attacks, Marie was offensive and attacked aggressively. John told her to stop but she was angry about what happened in the bar, she was powerless against Viktor, so she decided to act reckless. Marie slashed and thrusted her sword in all directions, but William deflected all the attacks with ease. The next attack William deflected, and counter-attacked with a punch in Marie's chest, the punch pushed Marie back and opened her to an attack. William wasting no time thrusted his sword at he her, John deflected William's attack with his dagger and tried to kick him. But William stepped away in time. "We have to work together as a team against him, don't act rashly, he is too skilled a swordsman. Calm yourself down and focus." John instructed Marie. Marie calmed herself down and agreed. After listening to Viktor, Damon stood up and pored himself a drink, he took a sip and said "That is the best wine I have ever tasted." Viktor smirked and said "There is a lot where that came from, shall we toast to our new partnership?" Viktor raised his glass. Damon also raised his glass but only to spill the wine on the floor. Viktor looked at Damon with anger. "You are right just about everything, except for the fact that my heart is corrupted. As for me figuring things out, one thing is for sure, you are afraid of the scarecrow, afraid of your death, afraid to lose all your power," Damon said. "You casted the immortality spell, and the only thing standing between you and absolute power is me, or should I say, us." Damon transformed into the scarecrow. "Too bad, you are not one to reason with boy." Viktor stood up. The scarecrow lunged forward and attacked Viktor, Viktor dodged and punched the scarecrow. The scarecrow didn't feel anything and attacked again, this time landing a punch to Viktor's face. Viktor had a bruise, but it healed instantly. Viktor laughed "Now you see boy, this is the power of immortality." Viktor kicked the scarecrow, the scarecrow was pushed back, before the scarecrow could stable his footing Viktor launched a fireball towards him. The scarecrow dodged somehow. The scarecrow formed his hand into a spear and stretched it towards Viktor, Viktor dodged, the scarecrow quickly lunged toward him and punched him again, this time the punch landed in the gut. Viktor might be immortal, but he felt pain. The scarecrow picked him and threw him away. Viktor landed on a piano which broke on impact. The scarecrow came towards Viktor again but this time Viktor casted a spell and the broken piano pieces flew toward the scarecrow. Many pieces pierced through the scarecrow's body and went out the other side, his body recovered. This distraction gave Viktor time to recover and he quickly got up. Viktor casted a spell and his fists were covered in flames. He lunged forward and attacked with a barrage of punches. Some punches landed on the body of the scarecrow causing damage. The scarecrow now felt pain and burn. But it managed to fight back with his own punches.These punches pushed back Viktor. The burn marks started to recover and this surprised the scarecrow. He remembered that if his will is strong and if he can resist the temptation of darkness, he will be able to resist fire also. Marie and John were fighting as a team now, William was still attacking but his attacks were being deflected with ease now, as the attack towards Marie was deflected by John and an attack toward John met with Marie's sword. John was waiting for an opening to attack, he asked Marie to start attacking again, Marie attacked again advancing towards William, she leaped forward attacking head on, William had no choice but to dodge and when he dodged John thrusted him in the rib with his dagger.
