The young master started walking towards the forest, William asked him "Master, are you going to meet La Bruja?" to which the young master nodded "yes" and continued walking. Damon stayed at home all day, he did not want to leave his home as he was thinking about what Uncle Ricky said, he also thought about the mysterious beast Hammond turned into, Damon thought there was more to this town than he had thought. That mansion holds the secret to this town's history. Who was that mysterious man that attacked him, did he used magic, what kind of magic did he used? There were many questions arousing in Damon's mind that he had no answers to, he thought to go visit Uncle Ricky, but after what he had done to him earlier was too ashamed to do so. The scarecrow knew what Damon was thinking but couldn't intervene as Damon still had most control over his mind and body. It remained silent. Damon went out in the evening; he went to another casino to play some poker and ease his mind. He sat at a table and played a few hands; Damon was very good at poker so he won all those rounds. The people he was playing against didn't took this lightly and called him behind the casino for a chat. As Damon went outside, they attacked him. There were 3 guys beating on Damon. Since the scarecrow fused with Damon his general strength and stamina exceeded far that of a normal human being. The men had batons made out of wood. Damon was covering his head with one hand and with the other he punched a guy on his nose, his nose broke at impact and blood started flowing out, Damon then blocked the second guy's baton with his hand and in doing so broke the baton. The men were surprised by his strength, Damon punched the second guy in the gut, and punched him on the jaw which broke, he choked the third guy. Meanwhile the commotion was heard by some town-folks and they called the police. Inspector Bradshaw came along with his deputies on the scene where the fight was happening. The policemen broke off the fight and took all the men in custody. The station wasn't far where the fight took place so all of them were taken there. The casino owner and some other eye witnesses stated that Damon was innocent and these men started the fight, as they couldn't take their loss like men. Bradshaw was surprised to see the damage done on the men by Damon, Damon beat all three men by himself he wondered. He had no choice but to release Damon. After leaving the station Damon went back to his house. The three guys told Bradshaw that Damon's strength was something they had never seen before, if Bradshaw came a minute later, they would've been dead. Hearing this Bradshaw went silent and thought about Damon, sure Damon had fought before, but he had never been this strong to take on three guys at once all by himself. Bradshaw lit his cigar and thought about what the guys had said. In the forest, the young master came in front of a cave. It was hidden amidst the large bushes and moss around. The young master walked into the cave. The young master cast a spell and a magic orb of light appeared into his hand. He opened his hand and the orb spread light onto the path ahead of him. He waked the path until it took him to the end of the cave. There was a old woman sitting by the fireplace. She was very old, her skin was wrinkly, she had a hunchback, had a long nose and was wearing old rags and a hood. As the young master approached her, she stood up supporting herself by a wooden stick, she spoke "Oh Master, my handsome master, you look ravishing as ever, what brings you to my humble abode?" The young master took the hay arm out of his coat, the old woman opened her eyes in staggering as she saw that arm. She said "It has arrived? That is not a good sign, tell me Master, is it vulnerable to fire?" The young master said "Yes, I want you to cast a spell on it, restricting its power and locate him for me." The old woman was a witch, she was a very powerful witch who had lot of knowledge about magic, by the looks of her she might have been older than a hundred years. The young master brought a lamb with him, he handed over the lamb to the witch. The witch said "Young Master you know the consequences, I will be vulnerable during this spell, as I cannot protect myself and need to focus only on this spell and he would be able to see me and my location. You have to protect me during the spell." The young master nodded in agreement and left the cave. The witch was called "La Bruja" which was Spanish for the witch, the witch needed a day to prepare for the spell. Uncle Ricky went in the mine after the workers shift was finished, he was looking for something, there was a restricted area in the mine where there was deep excavation and the workers were prohibited to go there. Uncle Ricky had hidden something there, he went to find it. After a while he dug at a specific place and pulled out an old box. He took the box out of the mine and wanted to show what was inside to Damon. "Maybe this will convince Damon, to believe me and listen to what I had to say." He thought while walking towards his house. The next morning Damon woke up as usual, took a bath and ate his breakfast. He was thinking of running away from Greywood, but the myth of the river scared him, and he didn't know about the road that was through the forest.
