I yet again attempted the ravens method, I started to believe my pet interacting with my physical body was a hindrance to me shifting however found no research supporting this but then I began to wonder. If there's no indication that having an animal touching you, standing on you or anything like that would have an effect then why would your limbs touching each other have an effect. I started to realise fairly early on I would have an issue with the ravens method. My body almost rejects it, incapable of staying still in a position I didn't find comfortable at all and then expected to sleep like that. I didn't think it was happening and even worse, when I stopped and focused on how uncomfortable I was it would get worse until I had to move back onto my side where I was comfortable.

I didn't understand how I was supposed to sleep like a starfish. My blanket didn't even cover me completely and I needed my blanket over me at least if I was to fall asleep.
