I promise I'm a good person. I'm kidding. I hate people. I tolerated Vada because she's friends with Lyric and Rebecca (well was, until our argument and she dropped her for being my friend) and because she's a decent person forty percent of the time. But she does make that other sixty percent count. Imagine me saying that in a very passive-aggressive voice.

We argued last night over text and I swear I have never met anyone as frustrating as her. I'm not necessarily a violent person but I want to shove a tire iron through her skull.

I'll spare you the details of the argument but what sent me over the edge was her saying her treating people like shit shouldn't be her fault because of her apparent mental illness. And I told her that's no excuse, there are tens of thousands of people with mental illness and they don't go around doing what she does.

I didn't say anything rude or hurtful because knowing her she would probably twist around and make people think I'm making fun of her for having a mental disorder then get everyone to hate me. If Vada does do that least I know that Matthew and Nova won't hate me. Hopefully Ria too.

I get dropped off and walk into the school and see Matthew at his locker waiting like normal. Matthew walks up to me and immediately says, "Yeah so sub in Mrs. Lelands-"

"Why?" I ask.

"She broke her foot." He says monotone

"WHAT?!"

"Yeah Mrs. Green and another teacher wheeled her out on a wheely chair and she was like smiling and waving."

"Oh."

"Then she fell off the chair and Mr. Zach had to help her too"

"Well. Anyways Vada and I aren't friends anymore and will never be friends again." I say to change the subject because I don't really care about Ms. Leland's ankle.

I show Matthew the chats she had sent to me and not the group chat. He also seems confused on why someone would use mental illness as an excuse to treat others like shit. We talk about other things for a bit until Matthew sees Ria walking to her locker.

"Oh hey there's Ria" He points out like I'm the blind one.

I finish putting things in my locker while Matthew goes off to talk to Ria. I walk over to Ria and tell her the same thing I told Matthew:

"I'm not friends with Vada anymore or ever again because we had an argument where she used her mental illness as an excuse to treat people like shit"

"I know, Like a saw part of the argument and why would she say something like that?"

She saw part of the argument. Well, she doesn't seem to hate me so that's good. I was worried that she'd hate me but she doesn't so I play it off like I don't care. I know I shouldn't act like this but that's what I do when I get sad or worried. I space out a bit until Ria says:

"Like as soon as someone uses sweetheart in an argument I'm done with you I don't care how close we are I'm done with you and cutting you off."

"I'll keep that in mind to not use that," Matthew responds.

After that, we go to our homerooms.

At choir, I apologize to Vada for saying some more violent things, and she responds with basically, 'I accept your apology but I'm not friends with you' Then I head to my uneventful lunch.

After school, Matthew is waiting in his spot and he follows me to the end of the hallway where we stop to wait for Ria by a giant bulletin board and some benches. While waiting for Ria, Matthew decides to try and steal my bus pass, which is a plastic card inside a clear plastic case. When Ria appears Matthew and I are still fighting over the bus pass. While Ria and I are talking about things, Matthew unclips my bus pass and gives me a smug look, like he was proud of stealing a plastic card that just tells the school whether or not I got on the bus.

I eventually get the bus pass back, but then Matthew decides to try and steal Ria's bus pass. She starts shaking the pass so that it was like a game of tug of war. Matthew is also scrolling through his photos trying to find a meme. He shows us a couple of memes and then finally lets go of Ria's bus pass. I have to leave for the bus but Ria and Matthew stay behind to talk more.
