When I walk through the garbage school doors I see Grace at her locker and decide to talk to her for a bit. It's nothing more than small talk, then I see Matthew making his way down the hallway towards me and we do our weird greeting where you violently tilt your head up while looking at the person down the hallway.Avani seemingly appears out of nowhere, presumably from behind me, which could really be almost anywhere in the school. Ria also appears from the gym doors. Then like normal at this point, Matthew tries to steal my bus pass. The thing is though; I'm prepared this time, so when we start trying to rip it out of the other person's hand, I jab him in the side. At least what I thought was his side until...
"OW MY RIBCAGE," It sounds like he's laughing, but he laughs when he's in pain so I'm not sure if it was actually painful or not.
Why the fuck is your ribcage that far down- you know what I'm not going to question it.
Matthew is still grumbling about his ribcage when we get to my locker. He then proceeds to shove himself into my locker. He tries, but fails to close the door on himself. He is pretty close to doing so though. The only thing that stops him is my arm. I probably would have left him in the locker too if I hadn't already put my Z-pass in my locker.
I'm a great friend
When Matthew tries to get out of the locker, he gets stuck, then frees himself because he's like a cat. He'll get himself stuck in a place he's not supposed to fit in, then realizes he's stuck and panics and then turns into a bendy straw to get out.
Avani then also tries to fit into the locker, which she does. Another kid tries to close the door on her though and it happens to be a kid I absolutely hate, yet I'm back on good terms with. I don't know, even I'm confused with it.Ria and Matthew are quietly chatting while Avani and I are talking about who knows what.
We head to the office, I know, the same boring thing over and over again. But hey, our normal counselor was back, but I don't care much for counselors because I don't like to talk to people about my problems. It's less of a 'I don't want to burden them' and more of a 'they'll tell my parents' or something. I don't know, I just don't want to talk about my problems to a stranger. Like what happened to Matthew. He had to talk to the counselor and then they called his parents all because he said "I don't like myself" and talked about how he might have anxiety but didn't want to self diagnose. Then he had to tell his mom everything and had to come out as well, so if that doesn't say don't talk to counselors, I don't know what does. (Note: if you are struggling, do talk to someone you trust or a counselor if you're comfortable. )
Avani quickly says hi to one of the office ladies who's there, and then realizes there's no mail for any of the teachers. We leave the office and head down the hallway to go and get the juice. (The holy juice). Matthew and Ria are still talking about random things, probably murder, death or something.
For breakfast they have scones, yogurt, and juice. They still don't have the normal juice boxes, but plastic juice cups. I grab a scone, yogurt and juice. Ria, Avani, and Matthew all grab a juice.
Matthew gives his juice to me, like normal. Ria follows and also gives her juice to me because she doesn't want it. I give my yogurt to Avani, who 'takes care of it' by throwing it into the trash. It was only a go-gurt I guess. I make the mistake of handing her the juice Ria gave me. She throws that in the trash too. Matthew has a strange look on his face, sort of like a 'someone could have eaten that but I don't want to speak up because of anxiety' and a mix of 'that's wasteful' in there too.
"Hey that was my juice. I feel offended." Ria complains.
