(warning // contains small mentions of blood.)

A/N : i said this book wouldn't have much angst but for character purposes i did add some tiny bit of angst. don't worry, this book is still major fluff.)

beomgyu did bring him bags inside with a great sense of authority and confidently walked upstairs when he stopped.

he had no idea which room was his. shit.
asking taehyun would ruin his macho image and beomgyu didn't want that.

taehyun, who seemed to put on some clothes, appeared behind him.

"i don't really want to deal with you so please go into that room," said taehyun pointing to the room at the corner.

beomgyu wondered why taehyun gave him that room, out of all the rooms.

"i'm giving that room because it's the cleanest in the sense, i have never bothered entering that room, and my room is on the other corner so the distance between us will be the maximum." taehyun giving beomgyu a sarcastic smile.

but beomgyu gave him a genuine smile in return.
it had just started to sink in that he was going to live in the same house as his idol.

---------------------------------------------------------

it was around seven in the evening when beomgyu had finished unpacking, making his room the most habitable part of the house.
literally.

it hurt beomgyu to look at the ground floor, where things were thrown here and there and no sort of order anywhere.

even when beomgyu lived in that tiny house, he at least kept it somewhat decent.

beomgyu wondered what soobin would feel in this kind of place.

beomgyu took out his phone and decided to text soobin

beomgyu : soobin, how's dad?

soobin : he's doing well. in fact, he's happy you have a steady job.

beomgyu : that's good, i was so worried for him.

soobin : you don't need to. just concentrate on ur job. how is it?

beomgyu : it's...a bit surprising.

soobin : wdym

beomgyu : taehyun called me a pervert the moment i entered the house and threw a heavy metal piece at me ;/

soobin : he....WHAT?!

soobin : i'm canceling the contract, i'm going to yeonjun.

beomgyu : hyung, no need to. it's fine. he was clearly surprised and to top it all he gave me the cleanest room.

soobin : should that be a good thing?

beomgyu : yes.

beomgyu couldn't tell him that it was because taehyun didn't want beomgyu to be even near a 10-mile radius of him.

beomgyu sighed. the taehyun he met at the fansign and the taehyun in the house felt completely different.

does that mean all the smiles and laughter and gratitude was nothing but fanservice?

beomgyu shook his head. he shouldn't assume things like this. sure, taehyun is messy but he is human too. just because he is an idol, doesn't mean he had to be perfectly fine all the time. plus being messy wasn't really a bad thing.

beomgyu looked downstairs. there was a pizza box near the sofa.
okay, this was just an elevated version of messy.

beomgyu was distracted from his thoughts from a loud bang, something being thrown, from the corner-most room.
