"Ella! Honey, come get your lunch!" I saw her big brown curls come around the corner and she was laughing. Adam was chasing our adorable 4 year old.

"Mommy! Mommy!" She ran right into my arms.

"Ella bella! Is daddy a big bad monster?"

"Yes! He's the tickle monster!"

"Don't worry, you're safe in my arms. Now let's eat lunch. I made you your favorite." Her eyes lit up.

"Pb and j?"

"Yes."

"Yay!" I sat her down at the table on the patio.

Adam came up behind me and kissed the top of my head.

"We made a beautiful little girl. Just look at her." Her smile reached those big blue eyes as she waved her sandwich at us.

"And I'm sure baby number 2 will be just as beautiful." I looked down at my 6-month pregnant belly. There sat another little girl.

"I love you so much Lexi. You've given me so much. More than I could've ever asked for and I couldn't be more in love with you," he dropped to one knee. Holy shit is this happening?

"Will you make me the happiest man alive and be my wife?" He opened up a big Tiffanies box to reveal the most beautiful diamond I've ever seen. Tears started forming in my eyes.

"Oh Adam, yes. Yes!" He stood up put the ring on my finger and gave me a big hug. I've never been so happy. My life is perfect.

"Alexa!"

"Alexa wake up!" I opened my eyes to see my mother standing over me shaking me.

"Get up! You have a CD signing in an hour!" Oh, it was all a dream? I looked down at my finger. Bare.

Dammit.

That dream felt so real. Maybe it's because I haven't seen Adam since Thanksgiving. He has a hockey tournament in New Hampshire until tomorrow. Me and Ava are good to drive up later to catch a game.

I dragged myself out of bed and put my hair into a bun. I didn't even really look at my outfit. I threw on a black shirt jeans and my red peacoat.

I put a handful of bobby pins in my wig. This thing is not coming off any time soon.

I threw on some makeup and went downstairs.

"Ok, I made you french toast and eggs."

"Thanks."

"Alexa what's wrong?"

"I just miss Adam. It's only been 4 days but I really miss him. I miss his smile in the morning and him telling me everything's going to ok."

"Oh I know you miss him, but you're going to see him later today. You'll be fine. Now let's go, we're going to be late.

We arrived to some place in Boston that I've never seen nor heard of before.

We went in through the back and there was Melissa.

"Hey Mel! I didn't think you'd be here!" I gave her s huge hug.

"Of course I'd be here. Oh gosh, look at you!" She looked down at my belly through my open coat.

"Oh I didn't know I put on a tight shirt. Crap. I guess I'm keeping my coat on."

"Ok, now let's get you out there to meet some fans and sign some CD's!" I walked out and hundreds of people cheered. I sat down at the table and first in like was someone that I recognized.
