Chapter 1: A New Beginning

??? POV

Me and my team were about to get ready for bed but we got called up to our headmaster's office as for the reason, well we didn't know but I can say this it did sound like he was concerned or worried when he called us up, but what still lingered in my mind was why us? We're only first years and in our second semester, I feel like it may have something to do with Torchwick and the White Fang.

???: "Why do you guys think we're being called up?" I said with a concerned voice tone

???: "Maybe it has something to do with us at the docks? What do you think Weiss?"

Weiss: "It most likely has to do with that cause let's be honest here we did end up taking a couple of bullheads down with Penny's help of course, but that was was like not that long ago he would've talked to us as soon as we made the headlines in the news about stopping a robbery made by the WhiteFang."

As soon as Weiss finished speaking we made a turn towards the headmaster's elevator and we saw Team JNPR there as well.

Weiss: "Hey Pyrrha, what are you guys doing here?."

Pyrrha: "We got called up to see Ozpin, were you guys as well?"

We all nodded at Pyrrha's question.

Pyrrha: "That's strange why would he want the eight of us?"

???: "OOOOO... maybe it's some secret assignment to take on the Grimm, to be honest, I've been wanting to smash my hammer into something for a while now."

???: "Nora I don't think it'll be that."

Nora: "pfft... ya right Ren, what do you think Jaune?"

Jaune: "Well to be honest I don't know I guess we just have to wait and see till we get to the top."

We all proceeded into the elevator and went straight to the top floor. Once we made it to the top we heard Ozpin say "Come in." we proceeded out and saw that Glynda was here as well.

Ozpin: "Ah, Teams RWBY and JNPR, Come take a seat." as he gestured towards the students to sit in the chairs.

???: "So what's up Professor Ozpin, what's with the late call?"

Ozpin: "Well Ruby you see we saw something crash down in the emerald forest and well it certainly was no rock from space it looked kinda like a ship." As he takes a sip from his mug

All of us exchanged looks at each other even with Glynda who also looked shocked. Yang decided to ask Ozpin

Yang: "So I'm assuming you're sending us and at least a teacher to investigate this crash site. Are you sure it wasn't just an Atlas drone or Bullhead?" she says with a hint of enthusiasm and concern in her voice.

Ozpin: "Well yes of course and I will say this that ship didn't look like an Atlas ship to me here take a look." As he pulls out his scroll and gives it to us to look at.
