Cat's P.O.V

Its been a month.. 2 weeks to go.. Until I'm separated from him. "Hey, ready for our day of sitting in the house all day and relaxing?" He smirks as he walks in my bedroom door in his sweats and t-shirt. "Yass. Im ready." I laugh as we both sit on the bed and turn on some movies.

I barely even pay attention to the movie. I just think about college.. How close it is.. What if i don't succeed at becoming a writer and he doesn't become whatever he wants.. He doesn't know what he wants to be yet. He said 'fuck it just live in the moment' he's going to college to see what he's good at but also enjoys.

"What are you thinking about?" He asks as he moves my hair out of my face. "College." I whisper. He sighs and looks me in the eyes. "Look, i know were gonna be away from each other for a long time but you're the only one i see and thats the one thing that won't change." He pecks my lips as i let the feel of his lips against mine linger..

Last day together, also day of shipping off to college. Sorry guys 😩

"Im gonna miss you so much you have no idea." Matt holds my face in his hands as he stares deep into my eyes. "All the shit we've been through! All the love, affection and caring. That won't end. I will never find anyone else like you. It is clearly impossible.. And if i have to wait a year. I will wait for you. I promise."

A tear slips out of my eye. "God, i love you so much Matt! You have no idea how hard this is gonna be. I don't try to be this clingy girlfriend but we have to talk all the time or I'm gonna go insane. I love you so much. You've been with me through lots and haven't left. You stay with someone like me when there are these gorgeous girls out there and you could have any one of them. You make me feel so special and loved like i actually belong here and i mean something. I hope this never changes and when we're both finished college i hope we will be together still."

He kisses my lips softly and passionately. "Why would i want any other girl but you. You are made just for me." He drags my luggage through the air port as we both sit down in star bucks. He leaves tomorrow. So he doesn't have his luggage.

He holds my hand from across the table as his thumb massages my knuckles. I look at our hands as a tear slips and i wipe it away before her can notice. "I love you Matt.. I don't know what love is and i don't know if this is actually it but all i know is this has to be it because i would not be able to survive caring about you more than i do now. I love you so much it hurts me."

"I love you too Cat." He kisses my knuckles. "Flight 492 to Arizona." The intercom buzzes in.. My mouth drops open. Well.. I guess this is it. I get up slowly as Matt and i walk to the gates. As I am about to walk through them i hear Matt. "Cat." He says. I turn around as I see him on one knee.

"Look. I can't say I love you to the moon and back because that is merely 442662 miles, and there is no number in the world that can measure how much i love you-- for it is indefinite. Will you take this promise ring and promise me that when we both get back from college we an go back to old ways? Nothing will change?" Matt asks as tears pour out of his eyes. I nod as he stands up and spins me around. He pulls me into a long love flowing passionate kiss. As we both pull away as the intercom repeats. "Flight 492 to Arizona, last call." I look at Matt.. He grabs my hand as i look at it he slips on the ring.
