Rubbing her eyes gently, Angelina arose from bed early again. She flinched slightly as her eyes adjusted to the brightness of the room. For the last few days, she followed the same routine. Waking up early, having breakfast at a local diner, study at the hotel room. She was slowly getting sick of it. Christmas was so near, all she wanted to do was leave Tom and his miserable self here and embrace the luxuries of the Malfoy Manor.

She got up, and walked to the bathroom. She showered in warm water and dried herself down. Angelina looked into the mirror and saw a different version of her.

A much tired and dull version. Her usually bright hazel eyes were obsidian and the darkness under her eyes were not unnoticeable. Angelina didn't like what she saw in the mirror and in attempt of covering it up, she undid the cap of her foundation and applied a layer of it to her skin. She still looked sick. She then drew on a small winged eyeliner hoping it would open her eyes up and take away the attention from her under eyes. But it felt like Aphrodite despised her today, so she packed up her makeup bag without glancing into the mirror again.

She walked out of the bathroom, dressed and all ready to leave. Tom, who was sitting on the desk reading something, noticed when Angelina started to pack her bag.

Angelina sat on the edge of the bed and put her shoes on, and stood up to grab her purse from the bedside table. She pulled a hundred pound note and walked to Tom and threw the note onto the desk.

"That's for the room," she said.

Tom didn't touch the note, instead he looked up to her, and said," Where are you going now?"

"Malfoy Manor,"

"We leave in two days, could you not wait?"

His fingers tapped against the wood of the desk, a ring on his index finger caught Angelina's attention. It wasn't very glamourous, instead it was of dark band and dark stone.

"No, I cannot. This town suffocates me, and I cannot bear to look at myself here."

"So you are going to leave,"

"Yes, indeed I am."

Tom and Angelina maintained eye contact from two different height levels, and Tom almost found it pleasing that she was back to looking him into his eyes and she didn't cower.

"Are you not going to ask me to join you?"

Angelina let out a small laugh, and said," Help yourself and join me, you look too happy here for such a miserable soul."

Much to Tom's dismay, Angelina didn't offer much talk on their way out despite her light hearted comment which was the last time they talked.

As they walked to a much private and abandoned part of the town to apparate, Angelina couldn't help but notice Tom and his shifted demeanor. When they first got here Tom was acting quite cold and he wasn't paying attention to much but since the 'incident' he was trying to get Angelina to talk to him.

If anything, he looked slightly desperate.

The pair walked over to an empty dark alley at the end of random street much far away from the busy part of the town. The two walked further into the dark alley; once Tom stopped he took Angelina's hand in his. Angelina knowing it was time to apparate, braced herself for the worst type of transportation but was caught off guard when Tom backed her up against the wall behind her.

He said to her as he lowered himself to her level, "I have been trying to talk to you for days and you've been ignoring everything I say, what is wrong with you?"
