Three days later, Tom and Angelina stood in their best muggle clothes at King cross station. Tom said something about 'giving a good impression'. Angelina wore her favorite light blue frock, and even had Tom put a matching ribbon in her hair.

Chilly breeze nipped at their skin as they looked in all directions for platform nine and three quarters. Avoiding the judging stares of older men and women, they kept looking for a specific magical sign. To their dismay, they found none.

Tom wondered if the professor was a fraud who had simply led him and Angelina to a dead end. But in the second of Tom doubting the existence of the magical realm, Angelina caught a few boys running into a pillar with loaded trollies of what seemed similar to theirs.

She raised a taunting finger at them," Tom look!"

"I believe that has to do something with the platform," Tom whispered as he observed the children of all ages run through the odd pillar.

Tom and Angelina reciprocated the actions of those children and walked through a pillar with their loaded trolleys. Angelina kept praying she wouldn't bump into the brick pillar as she dashed into it.

Luckily she didn't.

On the other side of the magical pillar, was a magnificent flaming steam train, that had the words 'Hogwarts Express' etched on it with gold. A sign that read platform nine and three quarters hung from a lamppost, only if that hung in the muggle world would it be easier for first time visitors.

They got onto the train and started looking around for a cabin to sit at, most of them looked full. Considering, Angelina and Tom were slightly late due to their unsuccessful hunt for the train and London busses.

"Let's just sit there, Tom." Angelina pointed a compartment that only had three boys about their age. She knocked on the glass door of the compartment.

"Hello, me and my friend couldn't find anywhere else to sit, may we sit here?" Angelina started. She stepped into the compartment with Tom.

"No, go sit somewhere else you filthy-" A platinum blonde haired boy spat and Angelina gasped, boy was she offended.

"That's not how you speak to a girl." Tom coldly interrupted.

"What are your names?" Another boy who sat beside the blonde boy asked. He seemed nicer than anybody already.

Angel decided to play the 'famous heritage card' on them, she had started to read about a book about pure-blood families, hers was top on the list. Her family had quite some many achievements, and was awfully famous in the scandal department, yet surprisingly was much respected.

"Angelina Arlo," She simply stated with a tight lipped smile.

"Tom Riddle,"

"Arlo? Bloody hell, how could we not recognize you, I apologize very much Ms. Arlo," The blonde boy stuttered. Tom's jaw clenched, knowing he went ignored because of her and her glorified family.

"It's alright, now may we sit here the ride is about to start," Angelina politely assured and the boy nodded.

"I'm Malfoy, Abraxas Malfoy," The boy extended his hand to Angelina then Tom. Angelina politely shook his hand but Tom gave him a hard stare, not accepting his hand. Instead, he sat next to Black. The blonde boy scowled at him.

"Avery, pleasure to meet you Angelina and Tom." A boy with brown hair said.

Two more boys also joined them, Tom, Angelina, Rosier, Nott, and Malfoy were sat in the compartment. They conversed occasionally. All of them told Angelina something about the wizarding world. The boys kept her occupied and cheery. They seemed to adore young Angelina.
