Angelina held her book tucked under her arm as she went down the many stairs of Malfoy Manor. It was cold outside and to protect herself from the cold, she made she had many layers of clothes on. The white snow slowly fell everywhere; it seemed to be slowed down by some enchantment.

The scene before her eyes had Angelina star struck.

I love magic.

She sat on the bench next to the frozen fountain, still in the midst of admiring the snow covered garden and started to read.

She got too carried away with reading she didn't realize someone was sitting right beside her. It was Zeus Malfoy, in his utmost glory.

"I didn't realize you were here," Angelina informed him and offered him a slight smile.

Zeus returned her a charming smile.

"I hope you didn't think I was sneaking up on you," he shrugged, "What are you reading this time of the year?"

"Oh," Angelina glanced at her book momentarily," Pride and Prejudice, it's written by a muggle. It's fantastic really,"

"Mr. Darcy was quite a sore loner, don't you think?" Zeus commented, his nose was pink from the coldness outside. He wore a hat and a jacket that were covered in snow, his hands were placed in his pockets and his legs kept bobbing up and down.

"I didn't know you read muggle fiction," Angelina admitted," But yes Mr. Darcy did give his heroin a lot of mental strain."

Zeus chuckled and Angelina let out a small laugh too. It seemed like days since she felt actual enlightenment and this was just a taste of it.

"How have you been Angelina?" Zeus asked a few moments later completely out of the blue.

She was quiet for a moment. She didn't know what to say.

Condensation left her mouth when she sighed," I've been better. How are you?"

"I've been rather good," he replied, "I have been meaning to catch you alone, you know?" he added.

"You have been?" she repeated, glancing sideways to him but rested her eyes on the fountain.

"Yes, I have," he assured," I wanted to talk to you, apologize about the past,"

"Go on," she sweetly smiled at him. Her hazel eyes looked into his, trying to see if he was wasting her time or not.

"Well," he scratched the back of his neck, obviously either nervous or unprepared, "I want you to know that I am very sorry for hurting you in the past. I was very stupid, if you couldn't tell-"

"Now that I am out of reach, you feel sorry?" she cocked her head the side, a small smirk making its way to her lips and she tried not to snort.

"No Angelina, I am actually sorry, I ruined what we had and it was a mistake," he hastily said,

"Okay,"

"And I heard Lily talking about your dress," he added.

"Now, I'm curious," she leaned slightly closer to him, her perfume hit him like a whiplash. She always smelt so fucking good.

"Mother gave me this," he pulled out a long box from his pocket," I thought it would go with well with your dress,"

He placed the box in her hands.

She looked down at it.

"Is this a peace offering?" she smiled.

He nodded.
