Ophelia's(Lias) Pov:

Once we arrived at Miguel's apartment, he unlocked the door, walked in, Eli and I followed him into his room.

"You guys can sit wherever you want" Miguel offered.

I took a seat on the edge of his bed, while Eli sat in his gaming chair, Miguel was laying in the middle of his bed, his head was resting on his hand.

"So how was your first day at your new school?" I asked Miguel, Eli looked up to listen to his answer.

"It wasn't too bad, Your so-called friends embarrassed me, but besides that good" Miguel sighed, I looked over at Eli who was now texting on his phone.

"Kyler is not my friend, you know that and I don't even know where to start with the Yasmine and Moon situation" I explained rubbing my temples, causing Eli to lookup.

"I've been friends with Yasmine, Kyler, and Moon since 6th grade, they weren't always bullies, I miss how we use to be like before my breakup with Kyler" I took a deep breath. They both looked invested in hearing the rest.

"Kyler treated me like shit during most of our relationship, and ever since the breakup, Yasmine and Moon have been distant, they only hang out with each other, I'm glad I have other friends or this summer would have been boring" I looked over at Miguel, he was throwing a stress ball in the air and catching it.

"Kyler treats everyone like shit" Eli pitched in, I was surprised when he spoke up, I've never really heard his voice until now, and I'm guessing Miguel hasn't either. We look over at Eli waiting for him to continue.

"Kyler has been bullying me since 8th grade, trust me I know how much of an ass he can be" Eli admitted, causing me to look down.

"Kyler one time beat me up at a supermarket and dumped Pepto on my head," Miguel said while chuckling. Causing Eli and I to look at each other, we all broke out in laughter. After our laughing fit, I spoke up.

"At least we can all relate to one another, hey do you guys want to come with me, costume shopping tomorrow?" I questioned looking up from my phone.

"I can't I have to go with my grandma to the doctor tomorrow, sorry lia" Miguel sadly said, I looked over at Eli waiting for his response.

"Umm, I'll ask my mom" Eli awkwardly mumbled, A big smile went across my face. Miguel turned on his PlayStation and handed a controller to Eli.

"Yayy, I need someone to help me pick out my costume for the Halloween party, thank you, Eli" I squealed, making them both chuckle. Miguel was going through the games he owns, asking Eli which ones he wants to play.

"What about COD?" Miguel questioned, Eli thought about it for a second before saying.

"Yeah sure"

"Lia do you want to play," Miguel asked, making me send Miguel a glare. Eli was looking between us waiting for a response.

"You know I suck at that game, I'll just let you two play while I scroll through TikTok" I giggled, they started a new online game, while I sat on my phone.

"THIS GAME IS ASS" Miguel yelled, raging because he lost to Eli's team. Eli laughed at Miguel's stupidity. I smirk, finally, someone beats Miguel in his stupid game.

"I thought you said you were a God at this game" Eli grinned

"Well I was until you showed up" Miguel chuckled "bro, how did you become so good at this game?"
