Chapter 30

Hawks pov:

I tried to grab her arm to pull her back, but she was too quick. I wanted to follow her but she need time to calm down. we can't seriously be done we spent almost a year together. covering my face with my hands I let out a shaky breath.

When she mentioned Moon my insides turned. do I like the moon? No, but have I wondered what things would be like if I dated her, yes. I have to do something I can't just leave it alone.

Ophelias pov

Laying in bed, home alone because my grandfather and Robby are at the dojo for extra training. I turn off my lights getting ready to go to bed but quickly turn them on when I hear a knock on my front door.

I rush to the door opening it to see, a crying hawk.

"Lia.." Hawk pleaded as I was about to slam the door shut he caught it and let himself in, closing the door behind him.

I step back looking at him with a harsh face.

"Say what you have to say, or get the hell out"I fume causing Hawk to step towards me, this time I don't step back, making direct eye contact he starts to lean in.

I hesitate looking down at his lips, our lips connect heat rushes to my face, as he grips my neck deepening the kiss.

I start taking off his shirt revealing our matching tattoo, memories flood my head remembering how we were before all the dojo drama. leaning back into the kiss, hawk starts leaving kisses down my neck before taking off my shirt revealing my bust.

"Are you sure?" He asks in a husky voice, his eyes are low when I shake my head yes. he doesn't wait he removes his pants a takes mine off.

time skip

somehow we ended up in my room, Hawk sleeping while im laying in his arms. No this wasn't the plan...

I don't regret what just happened truth be told I miss hawk, I miss how in love we were, I miss the late-night talks and even the arguing. I nudge Hawk awake, he blinks his eyes open.

"Yea" Hawk says in a groggy voice.

"We need to talk about this" I mumble sitting up, Hawk furrows his eyebrows propping himself up on his elbows.

"I know" Hawk hesitated.

"I don't know what to believe Hawk.." I begin "I want to believe you, my gut is telling me to."

"Then why don't you?" He questions sitting up fully.

"I can't imagine my grandfather saying something like that, he wouldn't use me" I answer honestly causing hawk to sigh.

"So where does this lead us to lia, I just want to be with you again how we use to be" Hawk truthfully answers closing my eyes shut to restrain myself.

"don't you think that's what I want? Hawk that's all I want, the trust is just broken and I don't know how your gonna fix it and let me remind you we are on two different sides at the moment." I put forth im not sure what im thinking right now but I know im not thinking correctly.

You know how everyone has a weakness especially in karate well mine is hawk.

"I know, I'll fix the trust between us and so what we are on different sides we can make this work." He speaks in a hopeful manner.

"you think so?" I question smiling.

"Yea I do" he smiles before leaning in for a kiss.

after pulling away I say "No one can know yet, especially cobra kai."

"I know"
