~chapter 12~

Ophelias POV:

i wake up at 12:22 am, thank god its summer. i get up and head towards my bathroom, since its summer practice starts earlier. after finishing my hygiene things. i remember my Grandfather is in town. I run into the living room to see no one there. i look around, my fathers not in his room?

I sigh after looking for them around the apartment, i grab my phone to see a text from Hawk.

Hawk 'do you wanna hang out after practice, Miguel and Aisha will be there'

Ophelia 'Yes of course, what are we gonna do?'

Hawk 'We were thinking of going to Aisha's house and just hangout, sound good?'

Ophelia 'yea'

after texting him it was almost time for practice, i packed my gym bag and headed to my car.

i arrived at the dojo, i take a deep breath before entering, there were new students. of course we won the tournament, so much has happened i completely forgot about that. i take my shoes off and change. i scan the room to see hawk talking to two new kids.

"what should we call them?" Hawk chuckles looking over at Aisha and Miguel.

"assface and twinkles" Aisha responded earning a laugh from the others.

i roll my eyes and walk up to them laughing.

"they're just messing with you" I say they sigh in relief.

"we all know your names are Assface and Douchebag" I chuckle walking over to Hawk, he put his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him.

everyone laughed.

"i call assface" The shorter one said.

Hawk kissed my forehead, earning a stare from Miguel. what's that about that, it soon slipped my mind but my attention was brought to the front door were my father walked in.

basically he told the new students to leave and come back tomorrow and he was mad about the whole cheating thing but if i'm being honest i don't see a problem with it. No mercy that's literally what he taught us.

My grandfather walked through the door, i ran up to him.

"Grandpa, please say your co-teaching?" I asked excitedly, he chuckles. I admire my grandfather, I strongly believe he knows what he talks about.

"I am" He responded smiling.

everyone was looking around confused.

"everyone this is a new addition to our dojo, sensei Kreese" my fathers voice boomed pointing over to my grandfather.

i walked back over to my spot.

"is that your grandfather?" Hawk asked, moving a peace of hair out of my face.

"yea how'd you know?" I respond smiling at him.

"i heard your guys convo, i think the whole class did" Hawk said chuckling.

"oh" i chuckle.

we continued practice, it was short because of my fathers temper.

practice soon ended.

Miguel,Aisha and Hawk got into my car because im driving them, Aisha put in her address on GPS. Hawk sat in the passenger seat. i don't even think they realize Hawk and I are dating. Hawk leans over and pecks me on my cheek i smile over at him starting the car. I realized every time Hawk is affectionate to me, Miguel gives us nasty looks.
