While Eunice was talking to Darry, I saw Lorraine on her phone. I wanted to ask Dally questions about what he would do if he and Lorraine were dating. "Where's Dally?", I asked. "Outside smoking." I went outside and found him on the side of the house.

"Hey, Dally can I talk to you?" He looked up and stopped smoking. "Yeah, we can talk." Then I started asking the questions. "What do you think of Lorraine?", I asked. "Why are you asking?" "I'm just wondering." "I think she's a beautiful girl that deserves to be loved especially for what she's been through." "I can picture you two dating. Would you treat her well if you were dating?" "Of course why wouldn't I?" "Because I heard that you go to the bar a lot."

"Yeah what about it?" "I know when you are a little too drunk you can cheat on your girlfriend but I know you don't mean it. Now tell me do you like her?" "I think I'm falling for her. She's different from other broads I dated, a good difference."

"So your not sure if you like her?" "Yeah, I'm still not sure. But I feel like I should get with her because I wouldn't treat her like shit like how her ex did. I'd be willing to change for her and not do any crimes or get too drunk. She deserves someone who will be there for her and love her. If I was that guy I wouldn't be able to describe how much I would love her." Once I heard what he said I couldn't help but smile. "Wow, Dally that was so sweet of you. I think you should tell her that." "No, I can't tell her." "Why?" "Because it'll be too soon." "So your falling for her but you don't know if you like her yet right?", I asked. "Yeah that's right but can you not tell her any of this?" "Yeah, I won't tell her don't worry." "Thanks, Marjorie." "Yeah, no problem it was good talking to you." He smiled and I went back inside.

I saw Lorraine on the couch listening to music and I decided to tell the other girls about what Dally told me. They were sitting at the table talking. Once I sat down they stopped and looked at me. "Girls we need to talk." "Okay what about?", Willa asked.

"I talked to Dally and asked him questions about him liking Lorraine." "What did he say?" "I explained everything he said from him being at the bar a lot to him saying he would change for her and him being able to love her.

Once I finished explaining the girls looked at me shocked. "Did he really say that?", Luella asked. "Yes, he did." "I haven't talked to him yet but I believe you", Eunice said.

"He says he's falling for her but I know he likes her." "Yes, he's obvious that he does. He looks at her a certain way", Luella said. "Do you think he'll be right for her?" "I would say so", Eunice said. "Does she even like him?" "I don't know but I hope she does. I really want them to get together."

We all look over at Lorraine who was still on her phone with her headphones in. Luckily she couldn't hear us, then Willa had an idea. "Should we set them up?" "Not right now but maybe. We shouldn't rush them into a relationship", I said. "Yeah we don't want to do that", Eunice said. "Guys how about I invite you and the gang over to my house to go swimming and Dally can talk to Lorraine more. He can swim with her", Luella said.

"That's a great idea Luella", Willa said. "But that's not all, I was thinking that we can get Darry to meet Hazel and Soda can meet Shiloh. We should totally set them up." "Luella I love your idea." We all agree with her idea, hung out a little more then we all went home except for Luella who was going to ask Darry about him meeting Hazel.

I decided to ask Darry about him meeting Hazel. I went up to him while he was doing dishes. "Darry I need to ask you something." "Ok, Lue goes ahead." "I'm having the girls over at my house tomorrow and I was wondering if you wanted to meet and get to know one of my sisters." "I don't know I'll have to think about that." She's your age and she's single." I told him a little about Hazel being a model.

"Can I see a picture of her?" "Yeah, I have one right here." "I pulled up a picture that I took of her for her Instagram. It was a picture of her in a sundress crouching at the beach back home before we moved here. She was crouching in front of the ocean. I showed Darry and his eyes widen. Looks like he finds her beautiful.

"Oh my god Luella she's so beautiful, she definitely looks like a model." "She is and once you meet her your gonna love her. "Do you want to meet her tomorrow evening?" "I would love to, she seems very nice." "Ok sounds good also tell the gang they can come too." "I'll be sure to tell them." "Great I'll see you tomorrow."

When I got home I saw Hazel making dinner and Shiloh sitting at the table. They must've gotten home a couple of minutes ago because it was the evening now. "Hey Luella how was your day?", Shiloh asked. "It was good. Hazel is it ok if the girls and the gang come over tomorrow evening to swim?" "Sure Lue they can come, and you're talking about Willa and Lorraine who I haven't met yet right?" "Yes actually we met two other girls a couple of weeks ago and they would like to come as well." "They can come, what are their names?" "Eunice and Marjorie, they're really nice. Willa, Lorraine, and I met them at school during lunch."

"That's nice I'm glad you're talking to more people", Shiloh said. "Is this gang your talking about those same boys you told us about?" "Yes Hazel and one of them wants to meet you. He's the oldest and he's the same age as you." "What's his name?" "His name is Darry. I already asked him about you guys meeting and he's ok with it."

"Alright as long as he's ok with it, I'm down to meet him. Is he nice?" "Yeah, he's very nice. He's Pony's oldest brother. The middle brother is Sodapop." "That's an unusual name, is he coming over tomorrow evening?" "Yes he is, all the guys are. Once you meet them you're going to love them." "I hope so from what you told us they seem nice."

While we were eating dinner I told a little about Darry and Soda but I want them to tell the girls about themselves so I didn't say much only like one thing about them. "Well, we look forward to meeting them." I was glad that they look forward to meeting them.

Later that night I was laying in my bed texting Pony about tomorrow evening. I told him to ask Soda if he's ok with meeting Shiloh. He told me he was ok with it. We texted a little more about general stuff then I went to bed. I couldn't wait for tomorrow evening I wanted it to come fast.

The next day I went to school. I was walking around looking for the girls until I felt a tap on my back. I turned to see Pony. "Hey Pony what's up?" "Hey, I just wanted to tell you that Soda is ok with this evening." "That's good I'm glad you guys are coming." "Me too I'll see you soon." "Ok see ya."

I found the girls and went up to them. "Hey, guys." "Hey, Luella are you excited for this evening?" "Yes both my sisters are ok with everyone coming." "Awesome can't wait to meet them." "They're really nice I met them a few times", Willa said. "Make sure you bring your bathing suits and a towel." "Ok will do."

"Is Dally going to be there?", Lorraine asked. "Yes, he is Lorraine. Why? do you like him?", Marjorie asked. "No, I was just wondering." "Mhm sure." "No, I was." "Whatever are you say Lorraine." We all knew she liked him and we were going to get them to spend time together tonight. "Why don't you text him and ask him if he'll be there tonight?" "I guess I could but he might be doing something." She texted him and told us he was coming.
