Lorraine
Today was the day of the musical. It starts at 7 pm and goes till nine. Before I left for school I texted Dally.

Me: Is the gang coming?

Dal: Soda, Steve, and Darry will try to make it. But if they don't they wish you luck

Me: Oh tell them I said thank you

Dal: ok, I think Pony, Johnny, and Twobit are coming.

Me: ok sounds good

When I got to school I met up with the girls. "Hi, Ms. Sheldon I loved your costume," Marjorie said. "Thanks," I said. "You're going to do so well," Willa replied. I smiled and thanked her.
"Luella is Hazel and Shiloh able to come?" "Yes, they are." I nodded.

"I'm sure Dally can't wait to see you," Eunice added. I blushed. "Okay okay, you can stop with that." "Lorraine it's obvious you like him and it sounds like he likes you too." "If he replied to your story yesterday that's surely a sign," Willa said. "I don't know maybe he's just trying to be nice."

Just then Pony, Johnny, and Twobit approached us. "Hey guys," Twobit said. Johnny approached Willa, "Hey angel." He said hugging Willa. "Aww, you guys truly go well together." Marjorie awed. Willa blushed while hugging Johnny. "Aww, they do make the perfect couple." I thought.
We all talked until the bell rang.

When I got home I rested for a while because I'm going to have a big night tonight and probably will get home pretty late. I practiced my script one last time.

A few hours later we left. When we got to the school my mom dropped me off at the entrance. "Good luck honey." She said. "Thanks, mom." "Make sure to look for us," She said. "I'll try," I said walking into the school.

When I got into the school there were already parents in the lobby waiting to head into the auditorium. I figured the whole gang would be here by now. I went in the side door of the auditorium that leads backstage. When I showed up backstage Pete, and Wesley was already there in their costumes. I grabbed my costume off the hanger and went to the changing booth.

After I got out we all rehearsed as a group for a bit until the show started. More families started coming in. I got a text from Dally telling me that he and the gang are here. I left him on open and prepared for the show to start. I was very nervous but tried to calm myself down.

Before someone opened the curtains our teacher went out on stage to talk to the audience a bit about general rules when you're seeing a play like no flash photography or no using electronics which is pretty basic stuff that you shouldn't do at a play. It's distracting and disrespectful.
"And now I present to you Singin' in the Rain," she said exciting the stage. Everyone cheered and applauded.

A/n: I've never seen Singin' in the Rain, I've only seen bits of it so I won't write the whole thing.

The show started and I waited to get on stage for my part. Right before I went on the teacher gave me a cardboard cutout that was supposed to be a car because in the movie Don falls into Kathy's car
When it was my part I went on stage pretending to drive a car. Wesley pretended to fall into my cardboard car which I thought was pretty funny.

As the show went on I could see Dally and everyone else including my family in the audience. It wasn't hard to see them or anyone in the audience at all.

Dally
As I saw Lorraine sing and dance I couldn't help but cry tears of joy. Man, I can't get over how amazing her acting is. When she's acting it's like she's someone else. I got Steve to make a silver prosthetic arm for her.

Flashback
I wanted to give Lorraine something I've been wanting to give her. I was walking to the DX because I wanted to ask Soda and Steve about it. It probably involves mechanics by the thought of it.

I walked in and saw Soda at the cash register. "Hey Dally what brings you here?" He asked. "I wanted either you or Steve to make something for Lorraine." Soda looked at me and called Steve and he came out of the garage. "Hey Dally what are you doing here?" He asked. "He wants one of us to make something for Lorraine," Soda said. Steve looked at me shocked. "What do you want me to make her Dal?" "I want you to make her a prosthetic arm." "Oh, I can probably do that." "Okay great, I'll need it by the time the play comes."
Flashback ends

During the intermission, I decided to ask Steve about the arm. "Steve do you have the arm?" I whispered. "Yeah, I do it's right here." He said pulling out a silver prosthetic arm and hanging it to me. "Perfect," I said examining it. I put the arm down after the intermission.

Lorraine
After the show was over the crowd cheered and we all bowed then we all went backstage. I walked to the lobby to see the whole gang there. I approached them and immediately the girls started bombarding me with compliments. So did the boys then I saw Dally.

I ran right into his arms. He picked me up and spun me around. "You did absolutely amazing Lorraine I'm so proud of you." He said with tears in his eyes. I blushed. "Aw thank you Dally but why are you crying?" "Because I'm happy and you did so good." He sniffled. I smiled, "you don't have to cry though."  "I know but I couldn't help it." He said hugging me. Then he let go of me as if he remembered something.

"Lorraine I have a reward for you and I think your gonna love it." "What is it?" I saw Steve give him something that looked metallic. Then he held it out to me. It was a prosthetic arm for my left side. "We hope you like it, Lorraine, Dally recommended me to make it," Steve said. I took it from Dally and couldn't believe I would have another arm. "Dally thank you so much you didn't have to do this." "Yes, I did you deserve it. Do you want me to put it on?" "Yeah, that'll be great."
He put the arm on me and I tried it out. "How does it feel?" "Great a lot better than having one arm." He smiled.

For the rest of the time there Dally met my family and they seemed to like him. He wasn't a fan of my brother Callum though and I couldn't blame him.
Dally and I were walking out to the parking lot and when we got to his car he stopped and took both of my hands and looked at me happily.

"Lorraine I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time now and I think right now is the time." I think I knew where this was going. "I've liked you for a long time and I felt bad about what you've been through in the past regarding your arm. But I would treat you right unlike your ex. Lorraine, will you be my girlfriend?" I was so excited, I liked Dally for a little while but I thought he wouldn't like me back at first but I now know he definitely does and will treat me better considering he got me a prosthetic arm. Yes Dally I'll be your girlfriend." I said. We both leaned in and kissed it was the most amazing kiss I've ever had.

We pulled away and he took off his ring and held it up. "This is yours now." He said sliding it on my finger. I looked at the ring, it was silver and said "Dally's Girl" on it. "Do you want me to take you home?" "Sure that'll be great." He opened the passenger side door for me and I texted my parents telling them I'll be with Dally and they were okay with it.

When we were driving I was confused that he wasn't going in the direction of my house. "Uh, where are we going?" I asked." He looked at me and smirked. "I'd thought I'd take my girl out for ice cream for doing an amazing job in her play." He smirked. "Aww, you don't have to do that." I blushed. "Yes, I do you deserve it."

We get to the ice cream place and enjoyed ice cream together then he took me home. As I was about to get out he pulled me in for a kiss. "I love you, Lorraine." I smiled "I love you too Dal." He smiled then I got out and he drove off. The rest of the night I was resting and I decided to text the girls about this tomorrow. I got a prosthetic arm and a boyfriend all on the same night. This was the best night of my life.
