Luella
Today was my first day at a new school. I'm excited and nervous. But it sucks because I won't know anyone there. I just hope that everyone is nice to me. I got ready, grabbed my backpack, and headed out the door. I walked to school all alone.
When I got there I went to the office to get my schedule. I have to go to my locker first to put my backpack away. I saw some socs staring at me but I didn't think anything of it.
I went to the English room and the teacher introduced herself to me. "Hi, you must be Luella I'm Mr. Syme I'll be your English teacher this year." He told me to introduce myself. "I'm Luella and I move here from Maryland." "Ok Luella you can sit next to Ponyboy," he said pointing to a pretty cute guy for my age. I sat in my seat and took my purse off to put it underneath my seat. Pony looked at me. "Hi, I'm Ponyboy. He stuck out his hand. I'm Luella but you can call me Lue." That's a pretty name you have." "Thank you, you're name is cool too." We shook hands and we continued on with class. "Ok class so you will be having to do a partner project about the book we've been reading in class. Luella and Ponyboy you guys will be partners."
Then he told everyone else who their partners will be. Pony and I looked at each other. "Do you want to come over to my house to work on the project?" he asked. "Sure." "I'll be around if you don't have anyone to talk to." "Okay, thanks." The class ended and we went our separate ways. I think I already made a new friend.
A/n: I'm writing this in class we're not doing anything and I'm bored so I mind as well do it and get this chapter done. I'll see you next chapter.
