Marjorie's room ⬆️
Willa
My heart started pounding. I had a feeling where this was going. "Willa ever since I met you I haven't stopped thinking about you. I would bring you up to the gang often. I would talk about how beautiful and kind you are. What I'm saying is that I like you a lot  and it's okay if you don't feel the same way but I thought I should confess now."

I was so shocked. My crush felt the same way about me. I'm so freakin happy and ecstatic. It felt like my heart was about to explode out of my chest. "Johnny I like you too. I've liked you since we've met. I thought you were really cute and looked like you needed someone there for you. I wouldn't shut up about you to the girls, they would always tell me to confess, but was too scared."

He blushed and took both my hands and asked the question I'd been wanting to hear. "Willa, will you be my girlfriend?" "Yes, Johnny of course," I said. We got off the couch and hugged each other. I felt so safe in his arms. "I'm so happy." "Me too Willa." We pulled away and left Luella's house. We hugged each other goodbye once we got to my house and went our separate ways. When I got home I texted the group chat that had the girls in it.

A/n: This is how the conversation went.

Willa: Girls guess what!

Lorraine: what?

Willa: JOHNNY AND I ARE DATING!😆

Marjorie: omg are you serious?

Willa: yes Marj

Luella: congrats bestie

Willa: thx bestie

Eunice: I always thought you guys would make a cute couple

Willa: thx guys

The conversation ends

I put my phone down, got in my pj's, and went to sleep. I've never felt this happy when going to sleep.

The next day I met up with the girls in the school lobby before class. "Hey, there's Johnny's girl," Lorraine said. I blushed. "Did you guys kiss?" Eunice asked. "Yeah, last night." "Aww, it's about time you did." I'm glad they're happy for us. "Marjorie maybe you can tell them about what Twobit asked you last night." Eunice pointed out. All of our attention was on Marjorie.

Marjorie
"Twobit asked me to get something to eat with him." "Ooh, Marjorie's got a date," Luella said. "I'm kinda nervous." "Don't worry we'll help you." I smiled. I'm glad I have a great group of friends.

Twobit
I've been thinking about Marjorie all morning. I'm currently with Pony and Johnny by the gym. "Guys I asked Willa out last night," Johnny said. Pony and I's jaws dropped. "Are you serious? What did she say?" Even though I could tell she liked him. "She said yes." I started jumping up and down to show my excitement. "Congrats man I knew she wanted to be with you," I said. "Yeah good job on asking her." Pony said. "Thanks, guys, we're both very happy."

"Two, what were you and Marjorie talking about last night?" "I asked her on a date." They looked at me shocked. "What?" I asked. "What did she say?" Pony asked. "She said yes but we don't have a day or time picked out. She told me she's free whenever." "Well, you should probably pick one." "Yeah, I can ask her if we can do it tonight." "That's a good idea." Pony said. The bell rang and we all went to our classes.

Marjorie
I was in the middle of class until I got a text from Twobit.

Twobit: Hey Marjorie would you like to go on our date after school?

Marjorie: Yeah I'm down

Twobit: ok perfect see u then

Marjorie: see ya

When I was done texting I put my phone away to take notes in class. Up until lunch, I couldn't get the idea of tonight out of my head.

When it was lunchtime I sat with the girls and told them about tonight. "I'm glad that it's tonight," I said. "Yeah, mind as well be," Willa said. "Yeah, better than waiting." "How about we come over to your house and help you pick out a dress. I can have Shiloh do your hair." "Luella you don't have to do that, she shouldn't have to do my hair." "No, it'll be fine in case you don't know how to do a certain style." "No Luella I'm probably gonna curl my hair." "Okay just thought I'd help."

Now I felt bad for declining. "Sorry, it's just I don't want to bother her if she's at work." "She doesn't have work today." "But I don't want anything serious. It's just a date." Luella sighed. "I know but she can still help you." "Okay if you say so."

After school, I went home and picked out an outfit for tonight. I picked out a really cute casual top and jeans outfit. When the night came, I heard a knock at the door. All four girls were standing there. "Hey, guys come in." We all went to my room. My room is orange and kinda large. "Wow, Marjorie you have a nice room," Willa said. "Thank you." I smiled.

Eunice put on some tunes while we were all getting ready. I put on my outfit, straightened my hair, and did my makeup. They all pretty much helped me with confidence. "If he does anything that makes you uncomfortable, call one of us," Lorraine said. I chuckled even though that's probably not going to happen. "Okay, I will."

When we were done they left and I waited for Twobit to arrive. I heard the doorbell ring. It was Twobit. I opened it and greeted him. "Hey Marjorie, you look nice." I blushed. "Thank you, so do you." He smiled and walked me out. "Where are we going?" "I was thinking maybe we can go to the park if that's okay with you." "Yeah, that's fine."

We made small talk on the way to the park. When we got there he laid the picnic blanket down and sat on it. We ate sandwiches and chocolate strawberries for dessert. We talked like we were old friends catching up.

When we got done he walked me home. "I had a really good time tonight Marjorie." I smiled.  "Me too. Hopefully, I'll see you around." "Yeah definitely." He smiled.  I walked into my house waving goodbye to him.

The next day at school, I told the girls about last night. "Wow, seems like you guys had a really good time," Willa smiled. "Yeah, we did."  I smiled. "It sounds like he really likes you," Lorraine said. I blushed and decided to change the subject. "Lorraine, how's theater going?" "Honestly really well. We've been rehearsing for some time now." "When's the show?" Eunice asked. "In a couple of weeks, you can buy tickets already." "Were all gonna buy tickets," I said. "I'm delighted that you all are the tickets are ten dollars each." She said.  "Okay, I can see if Hazel will let me buy one," Luella said. "Okay, let me know if you can." She said. "I will."
