Chapter 3- The Issue

The Common Room: 6:35 PM

As the Deku Protection Squad had discussed, the entire class except Mineta and Bakugo were gathered in the common room along with Aizawa and All Might. Most of them were wondering aloud what they were there for, whilst some had an idea why they were here already and were staying quiet. Aizawa getting ticked off was the first to voice his opinion on the matter.

"Why are we here?" Asked Aizawa in a fed-up tone of voice.

"GOOD QUESTION AND WHY THE HELL WASN'T I INVITED!" Yelled Bakugo as he came into the common room after hearing the commotion.

'Of course, he had to be here. The last person we wanted to see.' Thought Todoroki.

"You were asleep *Kero*." Said Tsuyu, quickly coming up with a half-lie.

"*Tch* WELL? GET ON WITH IT?" Said Bakugo, very well knowing he was asleep.

"R-Right, w-well it's about Deku sir..." Said Uraraka, getting slightly worried about telling the class this now that Bakugo is here.

"WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT THE SHITTY NERD?" Bakugo yelled, angry that he has to hear about Midoriya.

"Bakugo quiet, what's wrong with Problem child?" Aizawa said, giving Bakugo a death glare before questioning the trio, getting slightly worried now.

"You guys found out what's been up with Midobro?" Asked Kirishima, ignoring Bakugo yelling.

"Ooh, it's about Midori/Midoriya, huh." Said Toru and Mina at the same time, both wanting to hear about their ship.

"Mina, Toru. It's not the time for this right now, this is serious." Said Uraraka with a slight blush on her face as she tries to hold her composure.

"Indeed, this is quite serious." Said Iida whilst chopping the air rapidly.

"Well? What seems to be the issue with Young Midoriya?" Asked All Might.

"Haven't you guys noticed how he's been quieter in class, tired, and somewhat unresponsive *Kero*? Asked Tsuyu, only to get a response of murmurs of agreement or confusion.

"I guess some of us noticed it." Said Jiro.

"Did you find out the reason why Midoriya's been acting like this?" Asked Momo, concerned about her friend.

"We're getting to that *Kero*." Said Tsuyu, with a blank expression.

"Well, we were walking up to Deku's room earlier to ask what was up when we heard him... singing." Said Uraraka. 

"DID YOU IDIOTS SERIOUS MAKE ALL THIS NOISE BECAU-" Yelled Bakugo, before getting cut off by Todoroki.

"Shut up, she wasn't finished yet!" Todoroki yelled, his left side igniting in anger.

This shocked everyone seeing as Todoroki rarely showed any emotion.

After a brief moment to comprehend what just happened, All Might broke the silence.

"Please continue, Young Uraraka." Said All Might worried about his successor.

"Deku-Kun was singing songs he wrote a-about..." Uraraka said as she started to choke up again thinking about it.

"About?" Aizawa questioned while restraining Bakugo in his binding wraps.

"About his body issues, f-feeling weak and w-worthless." Uraraka said as she let the tears she'd been holding back fall down her face.

This information shocked everyone in the room, Bakugo even stopped thrashing around. They couldn't comprehend how the person who always seemed so bright and happy could feel like this. He was one of the strongest people in class too, how could he feel like he was weak. Bakugo had stopped moving completely with his head turned down as if he already knew why he felt like this, this went unnoticed by everyone.
