Chapter 25- Hospital

Shinamonrōru Hospital: 7:00 PM

'So much running...' I think as I stop to catch my breath. 'Who would have thought the train would be so far away from here...' I think as I pant heavily. 'It took a while but...' I think as I look up. 'I finally made it to the hospital.' I think as I look at the bright white neon sign. 

Third Person Pov

The Common Room: 6:00 PM

Kirishima, Kaminari, Bakugo, and Iida were in the common room doing their own things.

Bakugo and Kirishima were playing a fighting game and Bakugo was losing horribly.

Kaminari was just watching them play.

Iida was there to make sure the peace was kept.

'FLAWLESS VICTORY!!!' Was written on the screen as Kirishima had just finished wiping the floor with Bakugo whilst texting Mina.

"I WANT A REMATCH SHITTY HAIR!" Bakugo yelled as blew up the controller in his hands out of anger.

"We've already gone 10 rounds Bakubro and that was the last controller, you already blew up 6 of them." Kirishima said as he watched the charred controller parts go all over the place.

"Language Bakugo. You should speak to your classmates respectfully." Iida said, chopping his arms in Bakugo's direction.

"I DON'T GIVE A SHIT FOUR EYES!" Bakugo shouted before turning to Kaminari. "DUNCE FACE-" Bakugo yelled before getting cut off by Kaminari.

"Yeah, I got it." Kaminari said, getting up from his seat on the couch and walking toward the stairs before seeing a green blur running down the stairs. "Midobro?" Kaminari asked rhetorically, seeing Midoriya run at top speed.

"Midobro?" Kirishima questioned, watching Midoriya run past Kaminari.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING NERD!?" Bakugo asked, watching Midoriya cross the common room.

"Stop running in the dorms!" Iida yelled after Midoriya as he quickly opened the door and ran off in a green streak of lightning.

"What was that about?" Kaminari asked as he finally stopped spinning from when Midoriya ran past him.

"Knowing the nerd there's probably an All Might merch sale going on." Bakugo replied, turning to face Kaminari.

"He still shouldn't have been running in the dorms..." Iida said as he adjusted his glasses.

"Whatever Four Eyes. Dunce Face..." Bakugo said, turning back to the TV to watch Kirishima play practice mode.

"I'm on it." Kaminari said before jogging up the stairs.

Midoriya's Pov

Shinamonrōru Hospital: 7:01 PM

I walk inside the hospital and toward the front desk, I'm met with the same nurse as usual.

"Oh, It's been a while since I've seen you. I assume you're here to see her again?" The nurse asked.

"I am." I reply, plainly.

"She's in the same room as usual." The nurse said before going back to her files.

"Thank you." I say as I bow slightly.

"It's no problem at all, you have until 7:30. Now go cheer that girl up." The nurse said before looking at me with a smile and then going back to her work.

"I will." I say before walking down the hall.

I take the elevator up to the fourth floor. When it finally opens I walk past several doors, doctors and nurses running and walking around me. Then I finally make it to my destination, Room 420. I knock on the door to see if I get a response. I hear a shy "C-Come in." I smile a little as I opened the door to reveal none other than Eri.

Room 420: 7:05 PM

"Mr. Deku!" Eri yelled excitedly, turning her head in her bed to look at me.

"Hi Eri." I say as I smile brightly.

"Where were you Mr. Deku? You didn't visit me for..." Eri said before stopping to count on her fingers. "1...2...3..." Eri counted quietly. "3 days!" Eri yelled as she finished counting.

"I'm sorry Eri. I got caught up in a few things..." I say as I pat Eri's head, which she seemed to enjoy.

"It's ok Mr. Deku." Eri said as she leaned further into the head pats. "You're here now aren't you?" Eri asked rhetorically, looking at me with her head tilted to the side as she leaned into the head pat.

'She's so cute.' I think before responding to Eri. "I guess I am..." I reply as I stop patting Eri's head to grab something out of my bag.

"Are you going to do your sch-school work?" Eri asked as she watched me dig through my bag.

"Not today Eri. I did that before I came here and since I don't have much time today I thought I could read you something until I have to go." I reply as I finally pull a book of fairy tales out of my bag.

"What are fairy tales?" Eri asked, confused by the title of the book.

'She doesn't even know about fairy tales...' I think sadly as a slight frown comes onto my face.

"D-Did I ask s-something wrong Mr. Deku?" Eri asked as she noticed my expression, now looking nervous.

"No, not at all Eri, I was just surprised." I reply, quickly changing my expression back to a smile.

"Oh, okay then!" Eri said, cheering up slightly as she saw my smile.

"A fairy tale is a children's story about magical and imaginary beings and lands." I reply to Eri's earlier question as I open up the book looking through the stories I could show to Eri. "Most of these were written long before quirks were a thing, but a lot of these have people or creatures with powers similar to quirks." I continue, finally seeing a fairy tale that I could show to Eri. "Why don't we start with this one?" I ask, turning the book to Eri so she can see what I picked.

"Okay Mr. Deku." Eri replied, looking at the title.

"Let's begin then. Once upon a time..." I say as I begin to read the fairy tale to Eri.

Room 420: 7:28 PM

It had been a while since I'd started reading the first fairy tale and I was now finishing the 4th one.

"And they lived happily ever after. The end." I say as I finish the fairy tale. 'I have to go soon...' I think as I look up to the clock. "How was that Eri?" I ask as I close the book before hearing light snores. "Hmm?" I exclaim curiously as I look over to my right to see a sleeping Eri. 'I guess she fell asleep during that last fairy tale...' I think as I put the book back in my bag. 'Looks like it's time to go.' I think as I look back up at the clock to see that it now reads 7:29 PM. 'Goodnight Eri.' I think as I kiss Eri on her horn and walk out the door, turning the lights off and closing the door behind me as I leave.
