U.A Grounds: 6:09 AM
Midoriya was running at the top speed he was capable of without using his quirk and he was just a few yards away from the clearing.
'There it is...' Midoriya thought as he continued sprinting toward the clearing.
Uraraka was right behind Midoriya, just a few feet behind him.
'I'm so close...' Uraraka thought as she continued to chase after Midoriya and raised her right hand to grab onto the back of Midoriya's shirt.
'Almost...' Midoriya thought as he saw the edge of the clearing.
'Almost...' Uraraka thought as she reached out to grab Midoriya.
'There, I made it.' Midoriya said as he stepped into the clearing and turned around to face Uraraka.
"I gotcha." Uraraka said as she grabbed onto Midoriya's shirt with her right hand and crashed into him. "Shoot." Uraraka exclaimed as she knocked Midoriya onto the ground and fell on top of him with her head slightly below his head.
"Ugh..." Midoriya groaned as he was knocked down onto the grass and dropped the water bottle he was holding in his right hand onto the grass. "Yeah, you caught me alright..." Midoriya said as he laid back onto the grass and looked up at the sky.
"Sorry about that Deku-Kun..." Uraraka said as she dropped the water bottle she was holding in her left hand onto the grass and placed both of her hands onto the grass next to both sides of Midoriya's body. "I was going too fast and I couldn't stop in time..." Uraraka said as she pushed off of the ground to lift herself off of Midoriya's chest and sat up just above Midoriya's hips.
"It's okay..." Midoriya said as he moved his elbows to his sides and pulled them back to lift himself slightly. "Because I still win." Midoriya said as he tilted his head down slightly to face Uraraka and smiled at her.
"Wha-" Uraraka exclaimed as she looked down slightly at Midoriya and pulled her hands off of the ground. "You cheated..." Uraraka said as she placed her hands onto Midoriya's chest and pushed him back down onto the grass.
"Did I?" Midoriya asked rhetorically as he laid back onto the grass and tilted his head to the left. "I think that you should have been ready." Midoriya said as he chuckled slightly.
"I can't get ready if you say 'race you' as you start running." Uraraka said as she stared at Midoriya.
"I know." Midoriya said as he chuckled again and stared up at Uraraka.
"Hmph." Uraraka said as she looked to her left and pouted.
'She's adorable when she pouts.' Midoriya thought as he stopped tilting his head to the left. "Alright, alright, I'm sorry..." Midoriya said as he reached up to Uraraka's face with his right hand. "Forgive me?" Midoriya asked as he placed his right hand on Uraraka's left cheek to turn her head to face him.
'I guess I should forgive Deku-Kun, it was just a race...' Uraraka thought as she turned her head to face Midoriya. "Fine, I'll forgive you but-" Uraraka said as she looked down at Midoriya. 'I just realized the position we're in...' Uraraka thought as she blushed faintly.
'What was she going to say?' Midoriya questioned as he heard Uraraka stop talking. 'And is she blushing?' Midoriya questioned rhetorically as he looked closer at Uraraka's face. 'Why would she be-' Midoriya questioned as he looked down to see Uraraka sitting above his hips. 'Oh.' Midoriya thought as his eyes widened slightly. 'That's why...' Midoriya thought as he blushed slightly. "B-But what?" Midoriya asked as he looked up at Uraraka.
'I could ask for...' Uraraka thought as her blush deepened slightly. "B-But only if I can kiss you..." Uraraka said as she bent her elbows outward and leaned down slightly.
