Chapter 15- Talent Show: Part 2

"WHAT!?"

"What?" Midoriya asked, confused why he's the last person to go.

"You shouldn't be the one asking that!" Most of the crowd yelled.

"THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN THE TALENT SHOW SHITTY NERD!?" Asked Bakugo at full volume.

"I-I don't k-know K-Kacchan, I never s-signed up for it." Midoriya replied fearfully.

"Well, it says Izuku 'Deku' Midoriya on my list so get up here little listener!" Present Mic yelled out, prompting Midoriya to get out of his seat and walk to the stage.

'Sorry about this Deku-Kun, I hope this helps at least a little bit.' Uraraka thought to herself as she watched Midoriya get out of his seat and go up to the stage...

"W-Well then, I'm Izuku Midoriya and I'm gonna be singing a song I wrote." Midoriya said, surprising all of the audience except the teachers and the members of Class 1-A sans Mineta.

"Midoriya can sing?"

"I bet this Class 1-A trash can't even sing." A chop could be heard in the auditorium.

"SHITTY NERD CAN'T SING!"

"I guess we'll have to see."

"This song is about my time before U.A and trying my best to become the hero I want to be." Midoriya said as he plugged in his phone to the speakers and the auditorium screen.

There's a brief pause before the music starts, Midoriya takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and begins to sing. As he does a video starts to play as well.

"I always silence my phone."

'Is that why we couldn't reach Midoriya in the group chat on Saturday?' Iida thought to himself.

"I keep my sins on the low."

'What sins?' Most of the audience thought.

"I'd like to do it alone, but I'm lonely."

'You don't have to be alone anymore Deku-Kun. Everyone is here for you and I am too.' Uraraka thought to herself.

The video opens up with Midoriya running using 5% of OFA.

"I just be taking my time, only do it if it feels right."

"Feels right you say?" Punches and kicks could be heard briefly as Midoriya continued to sing.

"But I'm feeling like I go too slowly."

Midoriya puts a determined look onto his face as he continues running.

"I never seem to have a grasp on these things. You know I wanna believe but I just can't see how. I wanna know just how far I can go."

Midoriya speeds up, now using 20% of OFA.

"Every direction seems to stretch out to no end, oh. I could wait for all my life, and never feel the time was right. Might break or bend but some things you have to pursue."

Swaps to a clip from the sports festival plays its Todoroki and Midoriya's fight. Midoriya is breaking his finger to destroy Todoroki's ice. Some people flinched seeing that again.

'Our fight?' Todoroki questioned himself.

"I'll make it all come true. I'll make it all come true. I'll make it all come true."
