Before I knew it, it was Saturday and Josh showed up at my house to pick me up for the weekend. I was just finishing packing when he texted me that he was here and that he was coming in. I come downstairs to see him talking to my dad and my dad going over the rules of me sleeping over there. I clear my throat and he turns around and smiles at me. Josh takes my stuff out to the car and I give my dad a kiss on the cheek and follow him out.
"I'm the first one?" I ask as we get to his car.
"Yup, lady's first," He says and throws my stuff into the backseat. "I forgot to tell you my other buddy Kasey is coming to and we have to pick him up next."
"Okay," I answer and get in the front seat. He starts the car and starts driving to Kasey's house. As soon as we get there, a tall bulky teenage boy walks out with his things. He has shaggy blonde hair and glasses that fit his face quite nicely. I unbuckle my seat and climb into the backseat, assuming this is where he wants to sit.
"Bro, why did you pick up the chick first? I thought I was first?" Kasey asks as he sits up front. I can tell we aren't going to get along for a while.
"Because lady's are first," I respond and look at him. He shrugs me off and talks to John as we show up at Nathan's house. He comes out of his house with his things and smiles when he sees me and I wave.
"I forgot Kasey was coming," He says and he sits in the backseat with me.
"It was quite a surprise for me to when I found out a GIRL was hanging out with us," He says dramatically.
"Do you want me to hit you?" I ask him.
"Like you would hit me," He barely finishes when I punch him in the arm, "Okay, never mind." This makes Josh and Nathan laugh and embarrasses Kasey. We finally make it to Tommy's house and Josh tells me to get in the middle seat.
"Why can't Tommy sit in the middle?" I argue.
"Because the smallest person sits in the middle seat, that's the rule," I glare at him and move into the middle between Nathan and Tommy.
"Haha, you're short," Tommy jokes and hit him in the ribs with my elbow.
"This is gonna be a interesting weekend." I sigh. We make it to Josh's house eventually, which is roughly ten minutes away from mine. His house is medium size, and a light brown color with two stories. We all get out of the car and grab our things from the back.
"I can carry your things if you want," Nathan suggests.
"I think I can manage," I say and head towards the house.
We walk into the house and its bigger on the inside than the outside. The stair case to the upstairs is as soon as we walk in, with the living room on our right and dining room on our left. There is a hallway next to the kitchen and a pathway leading to the kitchen from the dining room. Josh leads us upstairs to his room on the right side. His room is a dark red, and to be quite honest a lot cleaner than I thought it was going to be. His bed is in the middle of the room with a TV right in front of it. He has a in room closet which was slightly open.
"Is this the first time you've been in a guys room?" Kasey asks me, setting his stuff down on the other side of the bed.
"No, why?"
"Because you haven't moved in a like five minutes." Josh laughs.
"Oh," I say and put my bag down next to the closet, so does Nathan. "What are we planning on doing?"
"I was thinking that we could go get some food and eat it down town somewhere, I assume yall are hungry?" Josh suggests.
"I could eat," Tommy says.
