Goodbye My Kitty

Third Person

     Ladybug let out a sob into Chat Blanc's shoulder as he hummed. His tail twirled as the hair on his neck rose and his ears perked. He stopped moving and stood still as she cried into his shoulder.

      Chat Noir finally made it back to Ladybug, landing a few feet away before taking in the sight. His breath got caught in his throat when he saw. He wanted so badly to hold his lady while she cried, to make her see that he was still here with her, but he was frozen. 

      Ladybug finally moved. Her face was wet with tears. She looked up at Chat Blanc and saw Chat Noir standing in the distance with the little boy. She knew what that meant.

      "I'm so sorry that I can't be with you." She said softly. 

      Chat Blanc blinked a few times, his ears twitching. He watched blankly as Ladybug took a step back, picking the boomerang up off the ground.

    Ladybug took a deep breath and placed her hand on Chat Blanc's cheek. He seemed surprised. She rubbed her thumb across his cheek and smiled.

      Chat Noir stood in shock, his jaw dropped to the ground as he watched Ladybug press her lips to Chat Blanc's.

      "Goodbye my Kitty." She said with a sob as she pulled away. A pained expression grew on Chat Blanc's face as he held her hand to his face and pressed his forehead to hers.

      Ladybug threw the boomerang up and watched Paris return to normal. The debris cleared, the people reappeared, and the buildings stood tall. 

    And Chat Blanc disappeared.
