Severus burst through the fireplace into the Burrow, catching Harry and Ron off guard in the middle of their game of Wizard's Chess.
"Snape?" Harry loudly said, catching the attention of Albus and Minerva. Albus looked over in surprise as he saw Severus standing in front of the fire place scowling at Harry. Severus broke eye contact with Harry and began walking towards Albus, surpressing the sneer that wished to arise from his face. "Albus, I was going to your office to bring up the absence of the help I had been promised. But I'd much rather discuss whatever the hell this is that I have stumbled upon."
"It's none of your business!" Ron snapped.
"Silence," Severus hissed, gaining the attention of the rest of the Weasley siblings who had now began to listen in on the conversation.
"While I'm not surprised by you, Albus. I know that Minerva would never leave Hogwarts and its staff without any notice. The only person that I could possibly think of regarding Minerva's action and what I heard is Felicis," Severus said.
"Your dead Aunt Felicis?" Harry whispered to Ron. Ron slowly nodded in reply. He knew his aunt was around the same age as Snape and probably went to Hogwarts with him, but it seemed the two of them were more than just acquaintances.
Albus stared back at Severus with a slight shimmer in his eyes, "Now is not a good time, Severus."
Severus opened his mouth to rebuttal, only for the blood curtling scream of a woman to occur from somewhere on the uppermost floors. Minerva immediately bolted up the stairs, while Albus rushed over to Severus and prevented him from following. "You need to leave, Severus. Now," Albus said as he handed Severus a flowerpot full of floo powder. With a irritated huff Severus walked into the fireplace and returned to Hogwarts. Albus rushed upstairs the moment he was gone.~~~~
Albus rushed into Felicis' room to find her being fed small cuts of raw meat by Minerva while still retrained to the bed. Once Felicis' hunger had been satiated, she began to sob once more. Minerva and Albus rushed to undo the restraints and Minerva pulled Felicis to her chest. "It was him," Felicis sobbed, "It was Severus."
Albus face turned solemn and he placed a hand over his goddaughter's. "Voldemort's alive," Albus said.
"Albus," Minerva scolded, "now is not the time."
"No, I need to hear this," Felicis said, pulling away from Minerva's embrace.
"The Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, Quirinus Quirrell, turned out to be a follower of Voldemort," Albus began. "Somehow, Voldemort was able share a body with Quirrel. His own face had grown out of the back of Quirrel's head. He nearly killed Harry, but Harry was just barely able to defeat him. Quirrel is dead, but Voldemort is likely still be alive. From what I viewed of Harry's memory, after he killed Quirrel a dark shadowy mass vaguely resembling Voldemort emerged from Quirrel and rushed towards Harry just before the boy passed out."
Felicis sat in her bed, digesting the information. "I'm still going to Hogwarts," she eventually replied. "The plan is still the same as it was before. I just wanted you to know this important bit of information," Albus said.
"I still think this could have waited until she was settled in with me," Minerva interjected.
"At Hogwarts?" Felicis asked.
Minerva nodded, "Harry is currently staying at The Burrow and wasn't aware of your existence until now. Albus and I are going to temporarily move you into my sleeping quarters later tonight when everyone is asleep and you will stay there until everything has been established with the Ministry and everything has been explained to Harry."
"I don't want Potter's spawn to know to the truth," Felicis quickly responded.
"We would not tell him unless you wanted us to," Albus replied, "But I think you should consider letting him know the truth. The Fidelius Charm would keep it safe just as it has with the rest of your family. Harry is close with the Weasleys. With how much you'd likely be interacting with him within and outside of Hogwarts, it would be easier for him to trust you if he knew the truth."
"Or he would learn I'm a Slytherin who is closely related to the man who murdered his parents and completely distrust and resent me," Felicis said.
"We will tell him the cover story then," Minerva replied, "But Albus is right in that you will likely be interacting with Harry often. You can't be refering to him as Potter's spawn and I suggest that you not let your hatred for Harry's father affect your perception and treatment of the boy."
"My perception and treatment of Potter will depend on his behavior and treatment of me," Felicis said.
Minerva sighed and rose from the bed, Albus followed suit.
"Your bedroom door will be locked and remained locked until we come to get you," Albus said, "I advise that you stay in bed and not push yourself. A past member of The Order was able to connect the symptoms the muggleborns had in Walburga's journal after breaking the cycle of comas to a weakened immune system. The necessary potions are being brewed for you and the administration of them along with your symptoms will be discussed later."
Felicis nodded in reply and watched as her godparents left her bedroom, locking the door behind them. Her mind wandered back to the nightmare she had had of Severus, certain it was a prophetic vision of his death.
