Y/N POV:
When I got to the scene I believe that I was feeling what you'd call true fear for the first time. This is because that same odd guy from earlier seemed to be taken hostage by a villain, and when I saw the look of fear and desperation to be let free my blood seemed to have turned cold.
A bunch of other people were nearby, but they all seemed to have simply frozen in time. I didn't really look around though, and instead began to slowly walk over to where he was.
There was some other boy that had curly green hair, and it looked like he was from the same school, and so I had guessed that he must be his friend. It looked like time had frozen with him in mid run towards the villain, and he had thrown his backpack at it's face.
When I reached both the villain and the odd boy I began to try and break him free, but right before I was able to pull him out time seemed to have become unfrozen, and the odd boy's eyes widened in shock.
"What the hell are you doing here?!"
'Hm? Did he only just now notice me?'
I tilted my head before being hit by the villain. He seemed to have a quirk that turned his body into sludge, and from what the crowd and useless heroes are saying he is able to use his hostages quirk. However; this process requires him to basically drown them in his own personal sludge. He was being drowned and suffocated.....
'It seems to really hurt when being hit with it.'
I was thinking this while being flung into a wall. It cracked upon impact, and I could tell that I had broken at least one rib from the impact.
I could hear someone scream, and I felt a bit of my blood start to leak out. The odd part was that it went back to normal almost a second later. Clothes, injuries, and even the wall.
The bad part about it was that it looked like the villains movements became quicker while that was happening.
'Is that some odd way of balancing out the reverse in time?'
I was thinking about what to do when someone stepped in and blasted them away. Apparently it was All Might, who is the #1 hero. When he punched the villain I feel like he died though...because the sludge that made up his body seemed to have vaporized, and the punch seemed to have been strong enough to make it rain.
"He changed the weather!"
"Go All Might!"
'No one gonna comment how that villain most likely just died? No? just me realizing this? Okay.'
Everyone kept cheering on the #1 hero while both me and the green curly haired boy were being lectured by the pro heroes that didn't do anything to help.
'What gives the people that didn't do anything the right to lecture the people that actually went and tried to help?'
I found out that the odd boy's name was Bakugo Katsuki, and the green curly haired boy's name was Midoriya Izuku.
Apparently I was right about the two of them being friends with the nickname Midoriya called Bakugo, but I didn't stay that long. In fact, I left as soon as I could.
When I reached home I felt a lump in my throat, but took a deep breath and walked inside anyway.
My family can be considered rich thanks to my family's quirks, but I was told that none of this will be mine. I actually have a job just so that I can survive. When I got to my room I ended up falling asleep right away. The odd part was that when I woke up I was somewhere unfamiliar.
It was like a plain white room, and when I stood up there was some person in what seemed to be a trench coat that you'd see in those really old black and white movies.
I was fairly shocked to say the least, and was even more surprised when I had confirmed that this was in fact not a dream.
"I've been wondering when someone like you would appear."
They had a very....unusual voice. It wasn't masculine, but you couldn't say that it was feminine either. In fact, they seemed to be neutral in all aspects, and I wasn't able to tell who they were either.
"Who are you?"
It was a very simple question, and yet it was also a very important one. The person in front of me seemed to have formed a small smirk when hearing this though, and walked over to me.
I tried to move, but when I realized that I couldn't, my eyes widened in shock.
"I suppose you can call me your cousin. You see, you and I are one in the same. You won't be able to move without me allowing you to with how underdeveloped your quirk is right now by the way. However; that is the reason why I am here. I am here to help you control your quirk."
To say that I was surprised was now an understatement, and I ended up falling back onto my backside from the shock.
Well, I would have if I wasn't sort of frozen in place.
"Wait...how come I'm able to talk? When it froze earlier no one was able to see me or hear me until it wore off."
The supposed relative chuckled when hearing this, and in the next second they were right in front of me. This time I actually did fall backwards.
"That is because what you did is child's play my dear. What I am doing is a bit more advanced."
That made sense, but to think that freezing time is child's play made me feel a bit uneasy.
"What...What do you know about my quirk?"
They smiled at this, and pulled me up to my feet.
"There's the question I was waiting for! Your quirk appears to be similar to mine, but you seemed to have inherited a few of our other relatives' quirks as well. Your quirk very much is best summed up as time to put lightly my dear. You can freeze time like me, but you can also reverse and forward time like your grandmother. I wouldn't be surprised if you could time travel like my father as well."
Hearing this...It seemed as though I was barely able to comprehend it. I mean who would be able to? To see someone that you didn't know existed, and then be told all of that and not freak out? It's nearly impossible.
They then went serious, and their smile disappeared, making me snap out of my thoughts and gulp while looking at them with slight nervousness.
"It looks like you do have drawbacks though. Thankfully you didn't get too bad of a side effect from freezing time like that, but it looks like you take life from one thing in order to reverse time. I can help you with most of the side effects, but you will most likely need help from everyone else as well. Oh, and once you get onto my level, you will be able to create breaks in time like this. In this space no time has gone by at all in the real world. I can hold it up for a total of one week now too."
At this point I had given up on trying to understand anything, and so I simply nodded my head. They seemed to laugh at this, and even ruffled up my hair.
"Aw~ You're trying so hard to understand what I'm saying. Don't worry, I'll be here from now on watching over you. Simply call out to your nii-san and I'll appear, okie?"
'Didn't you say cousin earlier? Now it's nii-san? Make up your mind...'
Instead of saying this I nodded my head, and in that moment I was back in the exact same spot that I was before all of that had happened.
'To think that Dad's side of the family had those kinds of quirks...crazy.'
I had no real reason to think that they weren't actual relatives at this point. Especially since we can't find anything about my Dad's family. They probably froze time and got rid of all of the documents or something.
