Liam went downstairs while rubbing his eyes, his memories linking one by one. His lips curved into a smile while thinking about what happened yesterday. The man he liked very much just kissed him on their first date!—well, he liked to think of it as a date. It was one of the most wonderful days he had plus, seeing little Louis happy with Marcel was just heartwarming. Everything was perfect just like the kiss. The brown-haired lad walked to the kitchen before a yawn escaped through his mouth.

"Morning, Liam." Karen greeted happily just as she was putting a plate of pancakes on the table. "Your father went out for a little jog with Dean."

"Good morning, mum!" Liam nodded and sat down. "I wish I could've went with him."

"It's alright, love. It's about time your father went jogging." Both of them laughed. As Karen put down the last plate of pancakes, they all sat down and said their grace before eating. They both ate quietly which made Liam wonder- by this time, his mom would chat about the neighbours or anything really. She cleared her throat before looking at him, "So Liam, I heard you went out yesterday- with Louis?"

That made Liam stop eating and look at his mum. At that moment, he remembered that he forget telling his mom about Mr. Styles! What can he do now? He can't just say that he's been hanging out  with a man that's 7 years older than him whom, by the way, just met like 3 weeks ago. "Uh- yes, mum."

"Our neighbor, Ms. Elois, told me. You never invite anyone else to our home except Niall! Who's this new friend of yours?" Karen excitedly ask. Well, it was true- she never really saw her son hanging out with anyone else outside but she also knew that everyone in his school loved him.

Liam tried to tell lesser details as much as possible. He didn't want to lie, he really didn't- not in front of his mom. "Well, uhm. His name is Harry, mum and he's a bit older than me." He felt very weird saying Mr. Styles' first name.

"That's nice. It would be obvious that he's older, he owns a car, she said." Karen smiled, "How did you two meet?"

This is where he gets in trouble. "Uhm..Uh, I- I met him while I was walking Dean. We stopped on this house and I found out that Deanie pooped in front of the gate. I had no garbage bag with me, mom so I started panicking- before I knew it, Harry saw the whole thing and decided to help me. He- he owns the house."

"So since then, you've been hanging out with him?"

"We bump on each other sometimes when I get to walk Dean." Liam looked down at his unfinished breakfast before smiling. His ears were turning bright red and he hoped  his mom wouldn't notice.

Karen just chuckled before patting his son's shoulder. "It's alright, dear. I'm glad you're meeting new friends this summer. I know it's not my business but you better watch out, okay? You're growing so fast and I know that you know what you're doing. But just to be sure, maybe invite him here for dinner sometime so I could take a look?"

Suddenly, Liam's expression brightened and his smile turned bigger. "Yes mum! I- I definitely would. I'll text him right now. Thank you and he's really- really nice. I even introduced him to Niall."
