Liam stood just behind the entrance of the kitchen, hearing his parents exchanging whispers. They were obviously talking about the scandal earlier which was unexpected for a young lad like him. He tried to move a little closer to hear the conversation more clearly but it wasn't meant to be since one little step and he'll be heard. The lad doesn't know why but he's nervous and at the same time, feels like this whole thing isn't exactly bad. It wasn't a big deal unless they'll find out what kind of relationship they have. It's this day that Liam vowed that there are secrets that stays as a secret.

"I honestly don't know what to do, Gee. All this time he was hanging out with your boss., YOUR BOSS!" Karen rubbed her forehead.

Geoff crossed his arms and sighed, "He also didn't know, Karen. We were both at work so we couldn't guard him 24/7. Plus, he's a grown boy-. This isn't anyone's fault."

Karen stared at her husband before slowly agreeing. "How old is he?, Mr. Styles I mean."

"He's 21. That's a 6-year age gap." Geoff held his wife's hands. "Listen to me, Karen. I know you're worried but this isn't something we should stress about. Mr. Harry Styles is a very trustworthy man. He works within our department and always makes sure that everybody's got what they need. He's strict when he needs to be strict, period. They're both friends, that's alright. But please promise me not to gossip this to other people." He looked at her eyes, clearly begging for an agreement. Meanwhile, Liam could feel his heart beating a little faster, clearly getting smitten just by knowing what Mr. Styles was like at work.

Karen smiled a bit, "Of course I won't. And I'm not like that, I only gossip with Maura. But you're right, this is something we shouldn't worry about. I'm just very surprised because of all Deanie had to poo at, he just had to do it in front of Harry's gate." She giggled.

"Wait, what?" Geoff raised his brow before Karen kissed him.

"Liam, dear! I know you're there. You can go in here and tell your father what happened." Karen giggled.

For a minute, Liam felt relieved. He was glad that his parents were very supportive. Sure it might have been a large subject but it wasn't worth worrying (at least for them). He stepped inside shyly and just sat in front of them. "Sorry for eavesdropping.." He admitted sheepishly.

"It's alright for now." Geoff flashed a smile. "Anyway, what's your mother here blabbing about? What happened on where?"

"I clearly don't know..." Liam shook his head.
