the next day was a day off for nini, meaning it was also a day of for ricky and ej.
she told maya, gina, seb and ashlyn what had happened the night with lucas and they all got super excited for her, seeing as this was something she wanted for two years.
nini woke up this morning late, being greeted by her empty apartment since maya and gina had work.
she sat down at the kitchen counter, eating food before her doorbell rings and groans in annoyance, getting up and opening it to reveal the curly-haired boy
"what?" she asks
ricky raises his eyebrows and laughs "good morning to you too best friend,"
he walks in past nini and she looks at him in confusion
"what's up ricky?" she asks
"hello? it's friday." he tells her evidently
nini looks at him confused for a few seconds before widening her eyes in realization "oh right!"
ricky nods "you forgot-"
she shakes her head "no i didn't."
"yep, you did."
"i didn't forget-"
"nina-"
"richard."
they both stay there looking at each other before he rolls his eyes playfully and slumps on the couch
"how could i forget our best friend day?" she asks, sitting down next to him "we've been doing it since we could walk,"
ricky nods "yeah. we also need to come up with a better name..."
he feels nini whack his arm, making him laugh and she stands up with a smile
"i'm going to get changed. don't raid the fridge," she tells him
"can't make any promises," he says, putting his hands up
nini shakes her head with a light laugh and goes to get ready, being done in about fifteen minutes before coming back out all ready wearing a white tank top, a leather jacket and denim jeans.
"finally," ricky exclaims, jumping up and opening the door for her as they make their way to his car and start their usual traditional day.
