Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I dragged the covers off of me and hopped out of bed. I walked down the hall to the bathroom. I took a nice warm shower, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, and put on deodorant. I walked back to my room to pick out an outfit. Most people would think I am crazy, but I spent at least 20 minutes trying to pick this outfit out. It was not only my first day of school, but my first impression on my peers. I picked out a total of six outfits consisting of t-shirts, dresses, sweatpants, leggings, skirts, you get the point. I narrowed it down to three outfits. If I wore the dress I might look too dressy. I put the dress back. If I wore sweatpants I would look too much like a homeless person. I put the sweatpants back. I finally decided to wear a pair of jeans and a oversized T-shirt.

I walked back to the bathroom to do my hair and makeup. I put my hair up in a bun and started to apply BB cream. I was going to put on foundation, but I did not want to do a full face of makeup. I really did not need it. This might sound cocky, but I was pretty without makeup. I still put it on because it always boosted my confidence. Confidence is key, if you have no confidence then you're showing weakness. That is what Sensei Tyler always told me. My dad did not agree, but he was always a softy, so I just ignored him.

I finished off my makeup with a little bit of mascara and curled my eyelashes. I took out my bun and my hair came tumbling down. I decided to just do curls today. I finished the last curl and unplugged the iron. I grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs. My mom had breakfast waiting for me like she always does. It was her famous waffles with nutella and whip cream on top.

¨Are you excited¨ my dad asked.

¨Why would I be excited for school?¨ I snarled back.

¨She has a point¨ my mom backed me up.

I finished eating my breakfast and put my plate in the dishwasher. I grabbed my skateboard and headed down the road. My parents offered to drive me, but the school was only a mile away. Anyways, I liked to skateboard and I never really get the chance. Back at home, school was a ten minute drive, so there was no way I was skateboarding then.

All of a sudden I hear this woosh 6 inches from my head. These idiots were speeding down the road and almost hit me. I did not get a good look to who it was, but I got a glimpse of red hair on one of the kids. I brushed it off and finished my ride to school.

Once I got there I headed straight for the main office. The lady asked me my name and printed out my schedule. Right when she handed it to me I felt a tap on my shoulder.

¨Hello! Are you Raelynn¨ a girl with long straight brown hair asked me.

¨Um yes. I'm assuming you're Moon?¨ I asked back.

¨Yes! I am going to show you around today. What is your first class?¨

¨English¨ I answered.

¨Okay right this way¨. She grabbed my hand and led me through the halls.

¨This is English. After class wait here and I will show you to...¨ she waved her hand for me to finish her sentence.

¨Biology¨ I finished.

¨Okay see you then. Bye!¨ She waved.

¨Bye.¨

I walked into the room where the teacher introduced me to the class. There was this girl glaring at me right into my eyes. It like she was trying to look through me or behind me, staring right through my soul. The teacher, Mrs. Watson, showed me to my seat. Of course it is across from Mrs. Creeps. Mrs. Watson introduced her. Her name was sarah. Like what was her problem with me, I have only been in the room for like 30 seconds.

¨We are starting our book today everyone. Please open to page 1.¨ Mrs. Watson said handing me the book.

Finally, the period was over. I grabbed my backpack and headed towards the door. I waited to the side for Moon. I felt a push on my shoulder. It was her! It was sarah! She bumped into my shoulder! I know your saying it was probably and accident, but no way! She had something against me from the beginning of the class.

¨Are you okay?¨ Moon asked me walking up. She had seen the look of disgust on my face.

¨Yeah I am fine.¨ I assured her.

After three more periods, Moon took me to lunch. She insisted I sat with her and her friends. We walked over to this round table where I sat down.

¨This is Yasmine, Sam, and sarah.¨ Moon told me.

¨Hi I am Raeylnn¨.

They all greeted me except sarah. She just kept glaring at me over and over. Like what was this bitch's problem. It got to the point where I asked her if I could help her with something, but she just shook her head, keeping eye contact.

¨So I hear Karate is big in the Valley.¨ I broke the silence.

¨Yeah! sarah and Sam are in Miyagi Do. Do you do karate?¨ She asks me.

¨Yeah I have since I was 8 years old. I am going to my first lesson at Cobra Kai after school.¨ I explained

They all gave this look to each other, especially sarah. I could tell that something was wrong.

¨I know you don't know what goes on around here, but you should probably change to Miyagi Do. Cobra Kai people are all bullies. Well, except my boyfriend miguel.¨ Sam informed me.

¨Yeah, I dated a member named Hawk, but he turned into the biggest bully.¨ Moon said.

¨Eh, I checked it out online and it looks a little too soft for me. I am a fan of tough love.¨ I explained

¨Well there is a difference between tough love and being an absolute ass hole.¨ sarah snargled.

Oh my god. She talks! Honestly Id rather her be a rude bitch to me then not talk at all.

¨I will think about it I guess.¨ I said trying to change the subject.

¨Just take a look, they are all over there¨ Yasmine pointed to a big table.

¨That is Hawk, Miguel, Tory, and Sasha. But the nice Miyagi Do people are over there. Demetri, Robby, Juni and us.¨ Sam said looking over at Karmen.

yeah sarah was nice alright.

¨I like Sasha's hair. It is such a pretty shade of red!¨ I complimented her.

sarah rolled her eyes and kept eating her lunch.

The bell rang and we all stood up. "they can't be that mean" I explained. As we walked out I felt a my foot being crushed.

¨Wow watch where your going!¨ A kid with a red mo hawk yelled.

I then had a flash back to this morning. It was the kid that almost ran me over.

¨What are you scared?¨ He said getting closer to my face after I said nothing.

¨Hawk leave her alone.¨ A kid with brown hair said.

¨You're such a jerk Hawk.¨ Sam said this while grabbing the brown haired boys hand and walked away. I guess that's Miguel. I don't know it was all so confusing to grasp at once.

Everyone walked away and I finished the rest of the school day. I skateboarded home and went up to my room to finish my homework.
