the first chapter I have decided will be like a prologue, like the beginning. This will take place one week after that day. I also want to say that it is two years into the future which means they are seventeen & eighteen years old. please enjoy, vote, and share with friends!

Adrien
"How are you so good at this game!" Marinette's laugh filled the room. They had been playing video games for the past hour and she had won every round.
"I don't know, Kitty. Maybe you're just a bad player." He scoffed in offense. She had to have some kind of superpower. This was ridiculous how good she was at this game. It had been a week since he started coming here. It was amazing how Marinette could just make all of his problems disappear.
"I am not a bad player. You have to be cheating!" A look of playful shock covered her face making Adrien laugh.
"How dare you! I am no cheat!" They tried to stay serious. They really did. But when he saw Mari's face turn red, he couldn't help but laugh. His laughter made her start laughing and soon they were nothing but giggles and trying to stay upright. Adrien's father didn't live up to his word. It had been a week and they had only spent one day together since then and was to talk about his upcoming big photoshoot.
"So, Chat Noir, do you want to lose another game or do something else?"
"Didn't you say earlier you had homework?" He gave her a wicked smile because she specifically said to him don't bring up the homework. Sure enough, she sent him a death glare making him laugh again. It was their physics homework that they had to do for tomorrow's lesson. But he couldn't tell her he knew that much about it. He could however help her if she needed it.
"What did I say about bringing that up?"
"That you wanted to get it done so you could play more games later?" His cheeky smile made her roll her eyes before turning to get her bag. Adrien saw that she had new fabrics in the corner beside her clothing model stand. He was curious to see what her new idea would be. The hat she made for him was still in his room, he kept it because it matched some other shoots he had to do. Plus, it was made by a friend.
Marinette pulled out her physics homework and the textbooks. He watched her get all her colored pens and sticky notes out. She was clumsy but when it came to school work he realized this past week that she was actually pretty organized with it. At school, he always saw a shy version of her that stumbled over words and her own feet but here as Chat Noir he saw a confident, sarcastic, stable girl. It made no sense to him but then again all the sense in the world.
This was the real her, pulling back the mask she wore at school. This was the version of Marinette that he never saw when he was Adrien. It was only as his alter ego that he saw her like this.
"So, do you want to help me with this or no-"
A crash followed by a scream from outside cut her off. They both jumped up looking out the window to see the newest Akuma on the loose. He turned to her, giving her his signature Chat Noir smile.
"Sorry, Mari. Duty calls. See you tomorrow!"

Marinette
She waited for him to jump over the two rows of buildings before she transformed. Tikki flew out from her bed where she had been sleeping.
"Tikki, spots on!"
(I really suck at action scenes but I will try my best)
Ladybug threw her yo-yo at the man's hand that held the newest Akuma weapon. Apparently, Chloe's father had fired yet another man just because Chloe had made a mess. It was sad to know that their own Mayor would rather fire half the city before learning to tell his wife and daughter the simple word of, NO.
