Marinette
"someone should get her some food."
"does she even eat?" "I would go for that."
"Does anyone know if she's single. I bet she'd like me :)"Marinette couldn't help but read everything on every post. Chat had begged her not to look and she did for the beginning of the day. She couldn't help it come closer to the end of what would have been the school day. He had taken her phone, she was grateful for that, because she knew that would have been so much worse than the computer. The comments went from bullying at her small figure to sexual comments on her.
"Marinette, please don't look at this." Tikki begged from beside her. The little kwamii had been crying silent tears behind her holder as the loud tears came from the girl. The words Tikki read made her sick to her small stomach. She hadn't been able to eat her cookies while reading any of this. It made her realize that Marinette hadn't eaten all day. It seems her prayers for Marinette to get some food was heard as she notices footsteps.
"Marinette? Honey?" The girl turned to the trap door as it opened to show her mother. Sabine looked at her daughter who was pale, except for red nose and blood shot eyes. It was a look she never wished to see on her little girl. She noticed the open computer on showing the recent social media feed. It made her heart clench. Sabine walked in slowly, holding a plate with a sandwich and water.
"Honey, you shouldn't look at that." Sabine knew she wouldn't be able to get her not to without taking the whole computer away. Her daughter was strong, so very strong, but tended to look at everything with small detail. She put the plate on the desk before turning to her daughter, giving a small kiss to the pale forehead. The tears were still going, making Sabine worry for her dehydration.
"Please do not look. It will do no good, do not listen to their words." It had hurt to see the picture of how skinny her daughter had gotten. How had she not noticed it? Was she sick? Or was she sad? The thoughts ran through her head as she walked out of the room. Marinette stared at the sandwich as she thought about just ignoring it. But she knew she needed it. Her mother had made it and brought it. Against her own thoughts, she ate the small sandwich and drank the water.
She felt Tikki slowly petting her hair. It made her feel slightly better at the fact that the little kwami was trying so hard. It made her sick to think that Tikki was with her though, this wasn't Ladybug material. A new notification made her look up to see that Chloe had replied to a comment, that made her blood freeze.
"She wouldn't like you, she is only into blondes."
Before she could let the tears fall, a noise on her roof made her freeze. Chat was here. The trap door opened as she saw out of the corner of her eye the black cat landing on her bed. He looked around before finally seeing her, as she turned to finally see him. She knew that she must look like hell. The sight of Chat Noir's shoulders going down and his ears flattening against his head made her tears harder to keep in.
"Oh, princess." He moved to hug her as she sobbed. Why was this happening to her? What did she do to deserve this? Marinette had always helped everyone. Sure she had done a few things wrong but that was human right? She felt Chat holding her tighter as he whispered sweet nothings in her ear. The sound of a new notification made her pull back, Chat tried to stop her but froze himself at it.
"Who does she like?"
"Ha, she likes Adrien Agreste."
"she knows she has no chance right?"
