Adrien
Where the hell was Felix? He looked around from the table he sat at for this party to find that his cousin was nowhere to be found. The dinner had started an hour ago and he was supposed to be with Adrien throughout the whole time. If he got in trouble for this, Adrien would no longer hold back for fighting him. His attention went to his side as Chloe slid right up beside him.
"You better be glad I can move fast in heels, Lila was almost here." Adrien glanced through the bangs of his hair that fell that Lila was glaring at Chloe's head from behind. He really could not handle her right now. The blonde sat down next to him, stealing his drink to take a sip. It was at a time like this that he wished he could swipe one of the alcoholic drinks from the bar, but he wasn't one who could just get over there.
"I heard Marinette was akumatized today, did you go check on her?" He nodded, not really thinking about it. His mind immediately went to the alleyway kiss and he tried his hardest not to blush again. It took him forever to get his red face to cool down the first time before coming here. He shifted around as his suit got heated.
"I went to check on her before coming here, she seemed really shaken up. She was nearly jumping out of her skin. We did talk, I got a special cookie too." She lost him at shaken up. That wasn't possible, when he left she was fine and even promised him she was fine. He knew that with half of her being Ladybug she was still okay. He understood if she was upset from it but shaken up, that was new.
"When I checked on her, she was fine." Chloe nodded, before biting into the cookie she got from the bakery. She wasn't lying when she said she had walked in to see a shaken up Marinette. It almost reminded her of the old Marinette who would jump and get all nervous with Adrien showing up.
"So, where is your demon spawn cousin?" Adrien scoffed before looking around again. He didn't know. He had even texted the spawn to see if he would even show up. It was no suprise that Felix would let everyone down again. There must have been a plan behind his disappearnce. He was still stuck on his cousin's new liking for his princess, that would have to change.
"I'm guessing by the jealous look on your face, you are thinking that Felix might be liking Marinette?" His head snapped in her direction to see her looking at him with a bored face. How did she know he liked Marinette?
"How do you know I like Mari- I mean no, no I'm not." He blushed, turning away from her laughter. She was basically choking on her breath from laughing so hard. She wiped a fake tear before putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Oh, gosh. You both are so oblivious. Everyone knows that you love Marinette, and Marinette loves you except for yourselves. It's always been like that. No one compares to your hidden feelings you've had for her. You just had to open your damn eyes."
Adrien's eyes went wide at Chloe use of cussing. He had never really heard her cuss before, making him wonder just how much this recent situation changed her. He knew that seeing his anger towards Marinette's bullying, and the seriousness of the bullying made her wake up to the real world.
"I see it now, I just hope I can catch her before she's gone to far." He couldn't tell Chloe that the other side of him had caught her. It was so ironic. One side of him loses her while the other gains her fully. It made him feel so complicated to even think about it. He wishes he could tell her everything, tell Marinette he knew she was Ladybug, tell her he was Adrien. But he couldn't and it hurt.
"I would say you are probably to late, check out this picture someone took of Chat Noir with Marinette today." He turned to look to see the moment he had kissed her while she was akumatized. He would have to save that when he got home. They needed to talk about that woman when he left tonight on his way home.
