The next day had came to a start at the pain of every bone of yours popping at every move you came about. Silently making your way back to your own classroom, Riko had shouted your name. "Hm?" "Help these two carry a box!" Looking at what she was pointing at, Kuroko and Kagami both struggle to carry two boxes each. Walking towards her, you took the box off of her arms and followed the short female. "Why are they so heavy, Damn it!" Kagami grunted while Kuroko nodded. "DVD's!" "DVD's?" Riko explained the three of you that she'll be giving more details once everyone meet up at the club room after school, and that is what time did.
Sitting on a empty table, far from the rest, you stared deeply at the match between Seihou v Kitawada. Everyone stood silent at the sight of the crazy amount of skills each member resembled in the video. "I knew it already, but...honestly, this is going to be hard." Izuki groan, slapping his face in frustration. "Sorry, actually I feel like crying." Koganei's eyes teared. "To put it clearly, we'd lose 9 matches out of 10 against either Seihou or Shutoku. But we just have to make those matches the ones we win!" Hyuuga smiled awkwardly at the coaches words, "You know...you can't really call that a plan, but...I've got an idea..."
"damn...im super nervous....we're not playing in simple school gymnasium like before."Furihata clenched his shirt at the sight of the giant gymnasium that you all currently stand at. "On top of that, we've got two matches in a row against the kings of the North and the East.....Not mentioning them being in a row...winning just one is going to be hard..." Kawahara added. Both Kagami and Kuroko stared at Midorima, who also looked back at them. Hyuuga glared as he send you a look, making you sigh and walk towards them. "You two are looking at the wrong opponent." Kagami and Kuroko groan at the tightness of your hand in both their shoulders. Hyuuga glared shitless at the two, "If you get ahead of yourself and we lose in the next match, you both will be just idiots!" Kagami rubbed the back of his neck, "I was just watching them a bit! Really! I'm properly focusing on the next opponent." "But Seihou...they're more normal than I expected... there aren't really tall players there, huh?" "Well yeah, they might have small builds for a team at the national level. The tallest one is the captain." Riko looked at you, "L/n-kun use your skill on him." Nodding at her command, you looked towards their captain, "4 center 187 cm, Iwamura Tsutomu." Riko was satisfied. "Now the control tower."
"5 point guard 179 cm, Kasuga Ryuuhei.." Tsugawa, who pointed at Kagami, gasped at the sight of his hair, "waah, your hair is really red! Scaryyy!" Kagami tilted his head, "Huh?" "Captain! It's the guy you talked about, right? When you said that Seirin was super weak but only one guy was incredibly strong." Cringing at the sound of a vein popping Riko groan at the sight of Tsugawa. "Hoho...what nice things to say, that shitty brat..." Hyuuga interrupted your silent pause with a sigh, "Why are you always picking a fight with the other school!" "I didn't do anything today!"
The changing rooms were highly intense, nobody made a single comment until Riko tried to cheer us up. It ended badly, but the great captain that Hyuuga is, collected us together boosting our energy. "The only thing left is to win! Let's go!!" "Yeah!!!" Silently walking towards the exit, Kuroko stopped both you and Kagami, making you concern at his facial expression. "Kagami-kun.......L/n-kun...was there a time when you hated basketball?" Kagami gave you an odd look as you returned one back. "Well...no, I guess not..." Kuroko looked at you for your response. You nodded slowly. "For me...there was. I think the reason was different, but I understand the feeling. They look cheerful right now, but.." "When it comes to hating something you like, it is incredibly painful." Kuroko nodded at your words. "That is why when L/n-kun talked to Midorima-kun, and said that the past and the future were different things, but they are not completely separated from each other. I think that this match is an important match for our senpai's so that they can overcome their past. That is why...."
