Walking into practice, with a very late arrival, you slide the gyms door open and spotted a dog sitting in front of your way. Blinking multiple times, the dog huffed with his tongue out, wiggling his tail once he saw you. "Oh, L/n, you're here!" Kagami shrieked once the dog looked at him, making you raise an eyebrow, "Why is this dog here...? And his eyes...they look horribly similar to..." You picked the dog up and looked at Kuroko, then back at it. "Oh." Izuki laughed at your expression, "Kuroko found it on the park." "Hm...what's...his name?" You finally took notice of the gender and looked at Kuroko, "Tetsuya #2!" Koganei shouted, you cringed at the name, but soon began to like it when you started chanting his name. The team smiled awkwardly at how cutely you began to act towards the dog. It reminded you of the three Dobermans your father owned back in America, but he sold them, forcefully, to his brother and you missed them a lot.

The rest of the day was a normal practice for everyone, but this time everyone had to convince Kagami to agree for #2 to stay with us, the following day, Kagami played like he use to without getting scared, but more annoyed at #2. But #2 stayed as part of the team. Heck, Riko even gave him his own uniform.

The next day wasn't much of a busy one, it was actually a vacation. Some stayed for practice, others went out. Although, you were in your hospital bed for a check up, nothing too serious. "He's actually healing pretty fast, oh my..." The doctor widened his eyes at the progress he read in your information paper. Your mother grin wide, "How fast?" "Hell be able to do whatever he wants in about...a few days..." The doctor looked so in shock, he couldn't even progress what he read anymore. Your mother cheered and hugged you tightly, but you just sat there unbothered.

Maybe your charms and looks are not useless...

On your way home, the rain had gotten worst, but both you and your mother got home safely and comfortably. "Momo and Miyuki are having a sleep over with their friends for a month. Your father will be back for a while. Now, don't bother me because I'll be taking my bath." You mother kissed your forehead and left. You didn't say anything and just watched TV.

"Hm?" You looked at your phone and the caller ID. You picked up the call, "Hello?" "M/N!!!" Cringing at the pain of your ear, you glared at your phone and put it on speaker. "What did you tell Aomine!?" "Huh?" "Okay, listen carefully. A girl, by the name Momoi-" "With big cups!!" "Shut up!" You rolled your eyes and lowered the volume of the TV, "Momoi said Aomine wasn't on his right game, and got injured during the Kaijou game." "Okay, so what?" Riko sighed, "Momoi saw you and Aomine talking, and once he went back to the locker rooms, he was mad at whatever you told him. Do you mind telling us what you said?" You were about to say something, but your mind went blank. "Whatever I said is between me and him. If you're so curious, go ask him." "But I tried!!" An unknown female voice shouted, making you irritated. "Annoying..." You then hung up the phone.

"..." "HE CALLED ME ANNOYING, TETSU-KUN!!!" Kagami smirked, "See...he gets it!" Riko groan, "I can't believe him. Oh, I forgot to ask him about his doctors appointment."

Soon, time went pretty fast, that it was night time. You were currently still in your couch, looking at old high school basketball plays of your father. It was starting to scare you at how insanely good he was, and it was noticeable that he kept becoming a monster as he aged. Your phone began to run again, and you picked up at the sight of Riko's name on the middle of the screen.

"M/n-kun, I don't want you to participate for the 8 school matches." "I was actually thinking the same thing." "Huh, really? Did the doctors appointment go bad?" You sighed, "No, I just need a few days to heal more. I was actually going to ask if you'll let me rest for awhile, until the Winter Cup starts." "How do you know we'll win?" You smirked, "Im confident." You can hear Riko squeal silently, and she was so happy about your choice of words. She was one to rely on your predictions, because they were always right. "Im okay with that then." "Oh, I forgot to say something else." Riko hmd. "I won't be attending practice for awhile. My dad requested a training for me." Riko laughed, "Perfect! Become greater then! Oh, my dads home. Bye bye!" "Bye."
