You looked down at Kagami with a smirk, showing your pointy fang at him, "That is why I want to help you train your body to think about what to do after." It was now Kagami's turn to smirk. "You fucker..." Before you can say anything, and hmd voice caught your attention, and there stood Midorima with an irk mark on his cheek at the sight of us talking to each other. Kagami grew the same vein at how tired he keeps bumping into the green hair. Kagami stood up and fixed the basketball hoop. "...What's up?" "Nothing. I'm just out to buy a drink." Midorima gave you small glances, while you support your face with your hand which your elbows were resting on one of your bedding part of your crutches. You were already over this situation, so you just plan to watch their little 1 v 1 happen. "Drink...? Shiruko! Impressive you can drink that in summer." "It's obviously a cold one, idiot." "Now about that!"
"Man...I'm disappointed in you." "Out of nowhere!?" "Before you lost against me, you lost horribly to Aomine, right?" "Guh..."
"Next time I'll win! It won't ever stay like that!" Midorima looked up at the hand print that stayed on the top of the board and scuffed. "Don't tell me you're thinking that you can win with an aerial battle? Your head is only filled with jumping, huh? Idiot." "Huuh!?" You raised an eyebrow at Midorima's words. "Just because you're jumping high, doesn't mean anything will change, you're still only half way. It's not worth being called a weapon yet. I can't have you lose numerous times like that, before I beat you two." Midorima looked at you with a glare then looked back at Kagami after he took a small glance at your knee. "Come. I'll fix that cheap conclusion of yours."
'I see what he's trying to say...but he's wrong. Kagami already has over passed his limit, but his body hasn't...'
The game ended like you expected. Kagami didn't match well with Midorima because he was too easy to read. Kagami was desperate that he wanted another game. "Stop it. It won't matter how much you shoot." "The hell...!" "Realize it already dumbass. Now matter how high you jump, it'll be easy to stop you. That's because I know you'll attempt a dunk without fail." Midorima was about to leave, but your words made him stop. "Yeah, but that's what makes it more interesting." Kagami looked at you confuse. Midorima grew an irk of your words and turn to look at you, but froze at how scary you looked. "Even if he's easy to read, even if you know what he's going to do. You're just afraid to admit that he'll grow much more stronger and you won't be able to do anything against him, exactly like you said. If you know that he'll attempt a dunk without fail, it makes him the scariest enemy." Takao stood next to Midorima in shock. You were right. If the opponent knows the enemies next move, the enemy can still over power them and make them look weak. Kagami is a bird brain and he won't change his decision, not until he accomplishes them. Midorima didn't say a word and left with Takao.
"Kagami." Kagami and Kuroko now stared at your serious form. "Yeah?" "Go run at the beach." Kagami smirked, "I was already planning that!" Kagami ran off while you stared at Kuroko. "You should do it too. You don't want to be left behind?" Kuroko smiled warmly at you, "No I'm not. The only person that will be left behind is you. You should rest to heal faster." And there Kuroko left your frozen state. Sighing in relief, you groan at your knee cramping. 'F-Fuck...'
Camp came to its end with you doing nothing but training Kagami and a little of Kuroko.
"Okay, everyone is here. Then let's go." "THANK YOU VERY MUCH." "Yay, I'm still alive!" Koganei cried in relief and cheered from gracefulness. "I thought I would die many times." You made an opposite turn with Riko while the others gave the two of you a confuse glance. "Hey, where are you guys going?" "Eh...? To the station?" Riko rolled her eyes, "Why you think I chose this place for our training camp? It's being held here this year." Izuki popped his phone it and showed the rest, "Today are the quarterfinals...the game is..." Riko smirked, "We're going to watch it now, the national tournament."
