There was nothing worst than a current lost of one of a lifetime match that had end so badly. Well, it's not bad for you that is...

One will say, if this is one important match and you lost, why aren't you so sad?

Well...

Nobody actually knows who the type of person L/n M/n really is.

"You say, that your son is one who was build to become a monster?"

""Nobody is born as a monster. It's what society makes you of...", is what I would've I said back then...but now when I look back at the good old days...my son was never..."normal", or whatever you guys like to call it—monster."

"Yo, M/n lezzz go throw some hoops!" Your father looked down at your tiny form, ball spinning on the tip of his fingers while your death looking eyes just stared at the ball. Your father began to feel a heavy weight due to how quiet you were, including the no answer. "I'll take that as a yes!"

"Are you insane?! Why kinda of fucked up in the head are you?! The "I'm really fucked in the head", or "I'm really fucked in the head"?!!" You were 13 when your father began to yell at you. There was a lot of reasons why, because at that age you've become a "delinquent", without knowing yourself. Your mother was crying in the background, you don't blame her since she just found out her son had injured three kids, got expelled from school, and is now being transferred to a Delinquent HIGHSCHOOL, which you're just in middle school. She felt as if she had failed as a mother, while your two sisters only watched in fear. The oldest didn't like the way your dad kept screaming, because he wasn't letting you talk.

Or hear your story.

But your father had a feeling that it was best to not too...and he should've listen to his own advice.

Because once you had opened your mouth, your family then soon realize, you are no normal kid at all.

They just never choose to admit it.

"TELL ME?! HUH?? WHAT MADE YOU SO...SO OUT OF YOUR HEAD?!" You gave him a blank look, the expression that your family only knew of you. They never understood you, one says, but your siblings did. They understood, they just didn't know what to say. Because those words...words that felt like a knife cutting through all of them...was one that they will remember.

"What are you saying? I've always been this way."

"My son, L/n M/n is one strange boy. Back then, my words will always protect him, even though I knew what he was."

"So what are you trying to say, Mr.L/n?"

Your eyes kept looking ahead, not even moving an inch from where you've last had made a single change in your form. Your team had lost the game before the finals, so there was no more hope. But...why the hell are you smiling?! Both teams stared at you in shock, you weren't mad, you weren't sad...you were happy? It felt weird...they've never seen you show emotions...but why are you smiling...?!

"My son was more like a joker."

You felt weird...your stomach was bothering you due to the pressure of you trying to hold your laughter, and everyone knew you were going to let it out. But why? Why are you so happy, at the worst possible time?! The coach felt a chilling feeling down his spine as he just kept looking at your form for your every move, not just him, all of them. As you began to laugh, you started to look up at the ceiling and just kept giggling in your own world, but then you stopped out of nowhere.

Your head dropped slowly back to show everyone your face, and that plain old face was back. Making the whole gym tense up.

"I had fun this whole year..."

"A silent joker."

That's right. You knew what you were doing this whole entire time. From day one, you knew the school didn't have a basketball team, from day one, you purposely sat next to Eli, the first day, you knew about everything. You planned and knew the way they will react with everything: work outs, schedule, etc..

And all that was because you were just...

bored.

Bored because you were winning, bored because there wasn't more drama, bored because they weren't doing as told, bored because THEY were boring.

And what did you decided to do?

You planned to make them hate you, and you purposely didn't moved out of the way when Eli and Caesar broke your knee, because that was your goal. You were playing around the whole time. The insults with one another, was a joke. The broken knee of yours, was a joke. You could've won todays game, but...you didn't feel like it. And purposely lost, because it was a joke.

You knew exactly what you were doing...and this whole year, went just as you wanted it to...but the game started to become very old...

And you decided to change it up at the end.

Why not lose?

"It was fun anyways."

"THE DAY HAS COME!!!! SEIRIN VS RAKUZAN!!!!!!!"

Both teams were lined up, facing each other now. There was a moment a silence between both lines, because there was nothing to say. They both knew it was best not to, because they felt the heavy atmosphere of the glares that both you and Akaashi are sending each other, even though you two aren't standing in front of each other.

"Oh god...L/n got involved in another fight with another generation of miracle...." Riko groan, but then she looked towards Kagami, who glared deeply towards the court.

Kagami was in deep thought, he wasn't sure if he regretted agreeing with you or not. Before Seirin entered the gym, you had stopped the man, which had caught the whole teams attention, and you looked serious. "Let me take over this game." Kagami widened his eyes, including the others, that was a first for them. What was going on inside your head when you said those words? But Kagami didn't say anything and nodded.

And now he's starting to feel regret with that.
