The way Todoroki looked at you enraged Bakugo to the peak of raging. The way he relaxes instantly when near you. The entire meeting he was somewhere near you. Like HE needed you. Like he KNEW what you were going through.
Though Bakugo didn't know why it made him so mad. Could it be that if you had fallen in love with Todoroki, he'd love you back, leaving a higher chance of him going through this alone. Maybe it could've been the thought of spending your time left with Todoroki instead of himself that set him on edge. Either way he was sending Todoroki glares that went very unnoticed.
The mission was simple, a few kids had gotten lost in a forest. There were six in total.
You guys had split up, with ear pieces to keep in contact.
After what felt like hours of looking, it was probably like twenty minutes, you heard a scream. So you ran to it.
You saw a kid hiding by a tree and then behind that tree was another kid with a quirk gone haywire.
Deciding that the best way to defuse the situation was to calm down the other child. You slowly made your way to him. "Hey kid, what's wrong!"
"I don't want the monsters to get me!" He said in between sobs.
"Okay, well using your quirk isn't gonna help you!"
"I can't stop it!" Balling his eyes out obviously terrified.
"Well, I need you to take a big deep breath for me, okay!?"
He nodded his head and breathed in.
"Now I need you to slowly breathe out!"
This went on for about a minute till he finally calmed down and his quirk deactivated. Both kids ran up to you and hugged you as you escorted them out of the forest to be reunited with their friends.
