"What the actual fuck is this shit," you were studying with Bakugo, so far for about an hour and you still don't understand anything but you have answers written down and according to him they are right.
"We're literally on question ten how do you not get it?"
"I ju-" at this point you were thrown into a coughing fit with a flower coming up as well. Bakugo was now beside you rubbing your back.
"Hey are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"How about we take a break from studying?"
You nodded your head and drank a glass of water. Truth be told breathing was starting to feel uncomfortable but you didn't want him to worry even more then he probably already is.
Bakugo sat there in silence, spacing off. Did he like you? Did you like him? How can he tell? He wanted you to understand how he felt about you but he still didn't quite know how he feels about you, so he came up with the next best solution.
"Y-you know I really appreciate meeting you."
You started at him for a second before smiling and saying "yea, same here although I wish we talked before all of this"
"What making a death bestie too much for you?"
"Did you just say 'bestie'?"
"..no, not me you're hearing things."
"No you just called me your bestie!"
"Shut up."
The next thing he knew was that you were hugging him so he hugged back.
