Pinky promises will never fail to be a part of me
a symbol of loyalty to words
and I find it so beautiful that you don't mind wrapping your pinky around mine
you don't worry about putting your money where your mouth is
it comes naturally to you, keeping your word
so I followed suit and I wrap my pinky around those of stranger's
and sometimes it hurts because the promise comes to completion
and my purpose ends
