I don't trust anyone anymore. All this time has been a lie. I don't even trust Promise. New creatures, Sudreth, running water, they kept this from me.

When we saw that person being ripped into pieces , we quickly left. I walked with my head down . My hair drooped all over my face. It felt like Octavian was looking at me. Like he cared about me. I don't care anymore. I need to leave this place. I can't trust Octavian or Keen, even my siblings. We made it to the house and I quickly went to my room.

"Nova...", Octavian said.

I locked the door and I sat in the corner.

I felt betrayed. Why did they not tell me. And it hit me. The running water how can we have running water. That question was still on my mind. How can they ?

I sat there for a couple of minutes until there was knock.

"Nova are you ok ?", said a familiar voice.

When I heard the voice, I knew it was Octavian.

I got up and walked to the door. I opened the door and walked right passed him.

" Hey..hey !", he said. He grabbed my wrist with a strong grip. I turned around and glared at him.

" Whats wrong?", he said with a concern look.

" What's wrong ,ha you know whats wrong , you lying to me!", I yelled.

"What are you talking about?", he said.

" Oh great acting , I know your faking! You were lying to me this whole time, I don't even know if your real name is Octavian!" I pulled away my arm. Tears came down my eyes.

Then his face looked aggravated.
There was a silence for a moment until.

" L..lying ", he spoke. "WHAT ABOUT YOU, HUH! , who are you then ? All this time I knew you were dangerous. What are you ?! , your not a person, your a MONSTER !"

I felt a sharp pain in my heart. I'm a monster ...

" WHAT IS GOING ON ! ", Keen said.

Octavian looked at him. Octavian changed he was a new person.
I looked down fighting my tears.

" SHE KNOWS ! MAN! AND IM GOING TO KILL HER !", he yelled. I was not the monster anymore it was Octavian. What happened to him ?
When I heard those six words I was in shock.

" Don't do it ", Keen said. "This is not part of our plan!"

What plan?
What's going on here?
I'm their weapon ?
I was clueless . I don't know whats going on ? I know they were lying to me, but using me as a weapon or anything to do with my powers.

I need to get away from this place ...

I quickly ran out of the door without Atticus or Promise. I didn't grab anything else.

" SHOOT ! ", I heard from a distance.

" IM GOING TO KILL HER ! ", Octavian yelled.

I ran as fast as I can run . I was being chased by Octavian. He had the sword in his hands. I quickly hid in one of the ruined houses.

" Come out come out where ever you are ? ", he said with a mocking tone.

I was scared being killed.

He didn't find me. He just gave up finding me.

Few days later...
It has been hard for the past several days for me. Octavian never found me which was a good thing. I found no food or water. I was getting weaker and weaker. I encountered a group of people. They stole my clothes and They beat me almost to death, but I was rescued by another group of people.
