Chapter 14: New Life

Yay I'm back! Sorry I haven't updated for a long time . I was sick and I had test and other stuff . I made another new book : Anime Guide of Life ! This is basically a review of animes I've watched or the mangas I've read . Hope you enjoy !

I suddenly woke up and found myself in an infirmary. All I can remember is when I was being lifted by a figure. I hurriedly looked around,but I couldn't move. I lifted my head and I was strapped by metal. A man sat next to where I laid and stood up. He tilted his head and smiled.

"Morning", he said.

I was terrified what would they do to me. I did not reply but instead I tried set myself free.

" No answer, huh, you can't break free, Ms. Anyways I'm Darius.", He said. He was a pretty tall man. Around 6'5 and very slender, yet he had some muscles.

" I'm Nova ", I panted. I finally gave up trying. Suddenly a sharp pain went all over my body like glass shards piercing my whole body.

" AHHHHHHHHHGGGGG", I managed to yell.

I looked to my other side, I saw a nurse injecting a syringe in one of the tubes.

" Wh...at...a..r.e.y..ou...p.uting...ins.ide.me?", I panted. My eyes
started to close and I blacked out.

My eyes fluttered and my vision was blurry. I was not in an infirmary anymore. I was in a chamber. I slowly got up and looked around. There was a worn out bed, table, chairs, etc. The walls were cracked and the lighting was vigorously bright.
Why am I here? Did they figure out what I am ? I think so.

" Sorry for what happened", a voice said. There were speakers around the place. I knew that they were watching me from the other side of this place.

" Well, Nova, this will be your new home. We will use you as a soldier and you must obey everything I say. We found out you have some magic in your hands and we want you to use them , okay ? No need to reply back. There's a time chart for everything you need to know at the table ", the voice said.

I looked at the table and what time I eat , when we will practice , and who's in charge. In the table as well is my uniform , sleep wear, and normal clothes to wear. The uniform was all black. My normal clothes It was brown pants, blue tank top, Striped collar shirt, leather jacket and combat boots. The sleep wear was pants and a shirt.

" We will have a meeting at 12:00pm so we expect you to be there, goodbye",the voice said.

I looked down and I was wearing a gown. I went to the bathroom and changed into the clothes. It's ten o'clock. Great I have two hours left. I let out a sigh. A slight pain came from my left arm. I pulled my sleeve to reveal my arm. The substance that they injected made my veins pop and very red. I didn't noticed that until now.

I searched at the cabinets trying to look for medicine or any thing that will help my arm. Nothing...

I crawled to the bed and the pain become more painful than I ever imagined. I sat in the corner and cried in pain. I stayed like that for two hours.

Someone snapped his or hers fingers and a group of men with black amour opened the door. They grabbed me by my left arm. And I screamed in pain.

" Whats your problem ? ", one of them asked with a disgusted look.

" Let go of me !", I yelled. As I tried to release my left arm.

He released me and pushed me out of the room .The men were surrounding me in a circle.
