The Protector Of All [ Editing ]

Chapter 7

I had this anger of revenge settling in my heart . I just wanted to kill the Silence . A burning feeling came inside . I felt like I was about to explode .

Atticus's P.O.V
I woke up because a shining light hit my face . I thought it was morning , but when I opened my eyes , I saw Nova levitating . Her eyes were exploding with light , her hands were lit up by this purple light coming out of her hands . Meteors were falling down from the sky . Stars hitting all over the place . Comets shooting down from the sky like bombs.
" NOVA!!!!" , I said .
She didn't respond . I tried to grab her arm , but when I touched it , it burned like fire . I grabbed a piece of cloth and put the cloth around her arm. I pulled her aside and the meteors , stars , and comets stopped falling down . I felt her forehead , It was normal . I put her down on the ground to let her rest . I looked at my hand . I had a burn, but it didn't hurt too much . I took guard duty until everyone was awake . I don't want anyone know what happened tonight .

Back to Nova

I woke up confused and in pain .
" Good morning , sis ", Promise said .
" Morning ", I said . I let out a soft groan .
" Morning ", said Atticus .
" I thought I was in guard duty ", I said .
" No, you didn't I took guard until morning . " he said.
" Then why am I in pain ?" , I said.
" Probably the floor , Idiot " said Atticus .
I rolled my eyes . I looked at his hand , it was being covered by cloth .
" What's that ?" , I said .
" Oh , I got a cut while I was guarding ", Atticus said .
" Okay ", I said . Atticus looked suspicious I glanced at him one more time . He looked at me and smiled . I looked away and walked towards Saren .

" Hey " , I said . She was crying and mumbling to herself . I sat near her and hugged her .
" Emarak is dead " , she said .
" I know , Saren " , I said .
" What if you or I die ", Saren said . ( don't jinx it )
" We'll be in a better place " , I responded . She looked at me . Her eyes were filled with tears . She smiled at me and gave me a hug .
" Stop crying your eyes will be red ", I said smiling . She laughed and wiped the tears out of her face . I got her up and we walked towards our parents .
" We have no food !!! " , Saren's dad said.
"Calm down , Eban ", my mom said .
" No, how can I provide for my family!!! ", he yelled .
" My family what about ours ? ", my dad said .
" Sweetie, calm down ", Saren's mom said .
" You know what , my family and I are leaving !!! ", Saren 's dad said . Saren and I looked at each other . Her dad grabbed her from the hand .
" NOOO ! ", I said . I ran towards her and grabbed her hand . Her dad punched me and I fell down . I heard her screaming and yelling . But her voice grew weaker and weaker .

One day later .....

I woke up again and found myself in the ground. I saw Promise sitting next to me patting my head . I gave a groan .
" She's awake !", Promise yelled. Atticus came to me and smiled .
" I'm glad your not dead ", he said .
" What happened ? " I said .
" Saren's dad punched you really hard and knocked you out " , he said .
" Saren where's Saren !!!!", I said .
He pointed at a dead corpse. It had Saren's clothing
" No ", I cried . I tried to get up , but Atticus gently pushed me down .
" You are not ready to get up ", he said . He made a pillow out of clothes he found . He gently put my head down on the pillow . He smiled and left . My eyes started to water.
She's already dead I can't handle it.
