Chapter 10 : No Mercy

Next morning...
I realized I'm in my room. Octavian must have carried me.

The bright sun shone on the window . I ignored the bright light and covered myself with the blankets.
"WAKE UP , SLEEPY HEADS !!!!!", said a yelling voice.
I plugged my ears . Someone pulled the blanket off the bed .
"Ugh", I groaned.
" GET YOUR BUTT UP ", the voice said .
I got up and looked at the face . It was Keen .
" Breakfast is ready ", he said .
"Your yelling at me because it's breakfast, how very sweet of you ", I said sarcastically.
"I know , I'm very sweet", Keen said.
"Are you waking up Promise? ", I asked .
" When you wake up a little kid , you will unleash the beast", he said.
I laughed , " Whatever, idiot ." He doesn't know that Promise is a morning person and she hates sleeping at night. I went to the kitchen and saw the food .

Atticus was devouring the food Octavian made.
" Try this ", Atticus said covered with food all over his mouth . He handed me a small pastry with a small decoration . I took a bite.
"It's good ",I shouted.
" Who taught you how to make these ?",I asked .
"My mom before she died ", he responded.
"Oh, I didn't mean to ", I said .
"It's okay at least you like it ", he said with a wink . Why did he wink at me ?
" Save some for your sister , Pig ", Keen said .
" Hey, I haven't eaten anything for the past days so give me a break !", Atticus yelled.
" Keen, don't worry I will make some more", Octavian said .

Everyone laughed and smiled ,I forgot all sadness and revenge pounding in my heart . Until , I walked to the garden. I looked at the rose bush where I laid the rock . All of my memories came back . Revenge sat in my heart , it was waiting to break free. I fell down and sat there crying . Images of Emarak , Saren , Mom, and Dad. And their dead bodies surrounded by their own blood. I couldn't save them . I have this special power and I can't save them !!!!! "Why why ?", I cried . Octavian was behind me and put his hand on my shoulder . " It's okay ", he said . He patted my head and left . I sat there looking at the rock . I punched the ground . " No mercy , I will show no mercy to the Silence ", I mumbled . This is for Emarak , Saren , Mom ,and Dad.

I got up and went inside . I wanted to hide the other side of me.
" Sis!", Promise said .
I looked at her she was eating that pastry Octavian made . Her face was filled crumbs. I grabbed a rag and wiped the crumbs .
"Thanks",Promise said with a smile . I smiled back . I opened the front door .
" Where are you going ?" Atticus asked .
" I'm going to find some stuff we need", I responded .
" We should go with you ", Atticus and Octavian said.
" No ,I'll be okay ,I can protect myself ",I said.
I winked at Atticus . Atticus saw me and gave me a worried look , he knew what I was going to do.
" Here ", Octavian said . He gave me his jacket . I grabbed it and left .

I looked at the front of the house it was all fenced with sharp fences . I turned around and walked in the road . The sky was dark and gloomy . Houses were on fire . I still heard screaming from a far. I went where my house was , the gigantic object was there . A group of Silences stood guard watching their " space ship " . I didn't hide , I just kept on walking towards the Silence . The Silence saw me and ran towards me . My hand started burning . One by one they were killed by me . Rays of light hit every single one . All of them were killed . I looked around my house to look for things . A picture frame of my family laid in the damp ground . I saw one of Promise's toys and one of Atticus's favorite books . I grabbed all of them and put them in a bag I found . I walked away , but stopped. Light came out of my hands . Falling objects fell out from the sky . It wasn't falling objects they are comets .All of the comets headed towards the rock . BANG ..... Smoke slowly disappeared . My eyes widened . The object is not destroyed . I wanted to finish them once and for all . I clenched my fist and fell on the ground . Why can't they just die. The Silence keeps on producing more and more of them. I slowly got up and walked away and went towards the home .

I opened the door . I saw Atticus , Promise , Keen , and Octavian laughing .
" What's going on ", I asked with a smile trying to hid my anger. "Oh , Bro is telling us jokes ",Promise said.
I smiled and said , " I got something for you , Promise ."
I gave her toy . She gasped and hugged me .
"Here , Atticus ", I said . I handed him his book .
" Thank you , sis ", he said with a grin.
I said nothing and walked to my room . I put the picture frame on the dresser . *Knock* "Come in ", I said .
Atticus came and sat at the bed . " I know what you did ", he said.
" They deserve it , Atticus ", I said .
"I know", he said.
" We'll go and find weapons tomorrow ", he said.
When he said it he left without another word to say. He's going to help me ? But he might get killed. I can't allow that. I don't want death anymore.
